Well, Crew Estep (Springfield Northwestern, So.) had a massive 6-1/2 foot improvement on his shot put best at the Piqua D2 district meet. He also had 2 other puts over 60 feet, so this is quite a step up for this sophomore and now joins the elite 60-foot clubs joining 168 other Ohio boys over the mark. 63' 3" moves him into the #48 slot all-time, and only trails the Ohio soph record of 65' 4 1/4" by a little more than 2 feet.
