St. Xavier Football 2024

Just heard about the kid from Springboro rising Jr. was their starting QB.
Not sure how that works/is allowed... X usually has insisted that kids can only transfer in from other Jesuit schools (after freshman year)-- typically after the family has made a geographic move-- unless there is some kind of special situation-- as when the QB at Moeller was enduring a lot of (internal) abuse-- and both schools agreed to do it, for the benefit of the kid... I can't see how a kid from Springboro fits either of those defined exceptions to X's prohibition on transfers after freshman year.

And there's @PURPLE REIGN with the laughing emoji right on cue.

Yet another "cheating" insinuation inferring that St X has had a bunch of transfers.

Him and @Mad Dogg never left high school. They are constantly pushing for the days of yesteryear and, as grown adults, continually insinuate "cheater cheater pumpkin eater" because they take their cues from the inner circle with the inferiority narrative. It's hilarious watching grown men censor their own opinions because they know the cool kids won't play their kid or like them if they tell the truth. I'd bet my house that both are either former athletes or close friends of the athletic establishment (or both).

If Elder is so awesome and never does anything wrong, then why aren't they winning anything with all the resources they have? Asked and never answered. Yet we all know why.

Is that really a thing? I know multiple kids that transferred in after freshman year. Maybe it used to be a thing, but isn’t anymore.

Last I heard (some years ago), X did not permit transfers in after freshman year-- except from other Jesuit schools-- unless there is/was an extremely unusual situation--like the Moeller QB back in 2005-06....

X's leadership felt (then-- and I assume still does now) that transferring in after freshmen year did not allow for receiving the full Jesuit prep educational experience-- which is why they would NOT let Paris Johnson leave after his first semester senior year, and still graduate with an X diploma-- X felt that a kid has to spend all 8 semesters at X, to get the full measure of what X is trying to imbue in its students...

Which is why Paris ultimately transferred to Princeton (so he could graduate mid-year senior year, and enroll at Ohio State, after first semester senior year)... he did what he thought was best for his football career (and I hear he's playing in the NFL now, so I guess it worked out for him)-- but it was sad seeing him show up to X playoff games his senior year, in his Princeton jersey, to follow his former teammates-- but I'm glad X stuck to its principles on that one (and I assume, many other instances)...
