Last night, week two of the XFL blasted off with St. Louis (2-0) traveling to Seattle (0-2) in a game that kicked off at 9 p.m. A. J. McCarron (Alabama) hit 22 of 36 passes for 184 yards and a touchdown. He also led the team in rushing with 41 yards on five carries and another touchdown. Hakeem Butler (Iowa State) grabbed four balls good for 61 yards and a touchdown. Willie Harvey (Iowa State) led the winning defense with 7 tackles, with two being of the solo variety. Donald Hageman (San Diego State) hit 2 of 3 field goals, including the game-winner as time expired from 44 yards out. For Seattle, Ben DiNucci (James Madison) hit 19 of 29 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns. Morgan Ellison (SE Louisiana) averaged 5 yards per carry but only got 10 carries. Jahcour Pearson (Mississippi) had four catches for 78 yards and a touchdown. Jordan Veasy (California) had just one catch for 8 yards and a touchdown. Emmanuel Smith (Vanderbilt) had a total of 10 tackles, with three being solo. Dominik Eberle (Utah State) had a 29-yard field goal.
