SPG Wrestling Coach Steps Down

When will they name a new coach? Seems like last year they kind of kept it on the down low.

I saw the post. Assuming thats true it seems like another pretty big blow. Pretty sure Jordan will only be a Jr next year, not a Sr, and was already a 2x champ, pinning in the finals last year. However, I believe not from Ohio originally.

Berick Jordan is leaving for Stillwater Valley, Carter to Blair, with 4 graduates going to be down 6 starters from last year.

Graham will be fine.
Looking at the athletes remaining and one or two coming up, the overall temperament of the room will be better than it has been in years.

When a person graduates or transfers you lose their athletic prowess, you lose their character, and you lose their parent(s). There are pros and cons in any move.

root,landis,demarco,krieger,marriott,crooks,blevins gonna be freshmen.root 1-2 at state, marriott 2-2, landis 5th.stull and souders gonna be 8th graders. souders was 6th , stull 7th.they had 11 wrestlers in the league tournament ,8 firsts, 2 seconds and a third.

SPG probably has a solid plan. They just keep it secret, like a skilled tactician.

Graham BOE had their latest meeting on July 26th which was the same day Graham Athletics tweeted Knott as the new HC. You won't find the minutes from the July 26th meeting posted on the school website for another couple weeks.

The previous poster is posting minutes from a BOE meeting that occurred last October (2021).

yea, i believe in the past he has been paid by the schools as the head wrestling coach even though he wasnt the head wrestling coach. teacher in st. paris, but wouldnt be hired to be their coach
