This is really one of those "I'll believe it when I see it" situations for me. There are always coaches, players, parents, fans, etc. that say that things are "different". From what we saw last year, there's a gap between Seton and the consistently really good teams in the area (in this case, MND). Is one summer of growth and "culture change" enough to close that gap? My opinion is no. And as someone stated above, when upperclassman start losing time to underclassman, how do players (and more importantly parents) react?
Whether it happens this year or in the coming years, I actually hope that gap closes between Seton and MND. But that's going to be hard. With Drew at MND, it's going to turn into a glorified Legends program. I suppose all of the privates sort of play by their own rules, but I hope that it's not just all MND around here.
