Southwest District/State Predictions

I see many debates on moeller swimmers in this thread, and let me tell you in my 45 years of being invloved with swimming i have never been more excited to see what the aquasaders can pull out next year! i think beyond a shadow of a doubt that greg nymberg will be state champion in no less that 6 events, and he doesnt even dope . kevin will also be very good. i spoke with Mr. George at the state meet (if you're reading this, the answer to that riddle i told you is Japanese sushi!) and he attributes kevins success to the diet of horse meat and beaver hormones that he has been on. ALL THAT IS PERFECTLY LEGAL BEFORE YOU HOOLIGANS START A RUCKUS!!!!! :p. all in all i am looking forward to see what coach bill has in store for the aquasaders next year, and GO MOELER!!!!!!!!!!!:thumb:

Can you please explain how Greg will be state champion in no less that 6 events? Is the state planning on changing the number of events you can swim in one meet?

I expect there to be a rule change in the amount of swims the boys can do for relays, which would put greg on the podium about 6 times in my estimate. some of my friends on the board have said theyve been considering this rule change for quite some time, and that they expect it to finally come to fruition next year

If the OHSAA changes the rule and allows a swimmers to swim on all 3 relays, then you are still one event short of 6 championships. This seems to be putting a lot of pressure on a kid, who did not even qualify for the finals in one of his two events. I am sure he is a good kid, but your outlandish comments are in the Jones/UA category. Also, if they allow more than 2 relays for each swimmer next year, St. Francis just might win all 3 relays again!!!!

Don't let him sucker you in, he's trolling.

LMAO...

I am not sure what is more disgraceful...

Your posts OR The product Moeller puts in the pool.

After some thought, I am going to go with the product Moeller puts in the pool. At least you hide behind a screen name while you post...but Moeller puts that disgraceful product in the pool and does not even have the smarts to hide their face...

I think this funny coming from you, Mr. Montana...if you really are Joe Montana. I would like to know why a football player is so interested in high school swimming? is it because you've had three divorces? i do not appreciate your unfounded and rude comments about the aquasaders, who are able to put together solid teams without even having a pool! I cant hear you over 2 3rd place finishes and next year 8 first place finishes!!!!!

It appears that the great cooper hodge is coming back to moeller next year, watch out boys moeller is going to be strong next year

That is speculation and hopes surrounding the moeller community nothing official but I have faith and if that is the case moeller will have a legitimate shot at the state title

Based on this year's qualifiers X has 7 swimmers with 10 swims returning, Moeller has 4 swimmers with 7 swims & StF has 5 swimmers with 8 swims. Scoring just the returning individuals based on this year's times X has 96 points; Moeller has 93 & StF has 82. Based on this, it should be a very competive meet next year between X & StF - both of whom have sizable teams with additional swimmers waiting who will move up. Moeller does have a shot...but they will need some others to step up, qualify and score. Top 5 next year - X, StF, Moeller, UA & SC.

I do not think you are factoring in the new training program the aquasaders will be implementing next year. i have complete faith that moeller will bring home AT LEAST 10 state titles. the 500, 200, 50 free, and 100 fly and all the relays are entirely in the bag for moeller. expecting exceptional swims out of greg nymberg, kevin george, jacob peloquin, and matt slabe, who is transferring to moeller next year if my reports are to be believed. i too, have herd that the great copper hogde will be returning but will be swimming for indian hills. i perosnally despise traitors but i still wish him the best he is a moeller brother after all, even if we atteneded archbishop moeller high school nearly 30 years apart!

Hey MoeSwimsBest, or should I call u Bryan K. Maybe u should stop making stupid comments on here and focus more on your swimming. I was looking at your league championship results and u and your team are getting a beat down.

I don't think that it's entirely appropriate to accuse Brian k, whoever that may be, to be the account holder of moeswinsbest.. Do you have any sources that would verify this?

My name is randy, not bryan. i always thought bryan was a good name for a boy if you wanted him to end up being a wuss!

No sources just looking at old posts of his and came to that conclusion. I mean why would a Moeller fan boy wish good luck to St. X swimmers? Maybe bc they were on his same club team. Also bk is a Moeller swimmer that is never mentioned.

So maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

Being that i am an active member in the moeller community i know Bryan personally and was confused when I realized the Bryan k you spoke of was the same Bryan that was being accused of making this account. Bryan was a moeller captain and lead the team with his mature and modest characteristics. I also know that no one from his club team swims for moeller. I do think that moeswinsbest is a member or recent graduate of moeller and they misrepresents the team tremendously..

Misrepresent the team? how can enthusiasm and good will towards the aquasaders be misrepresenting moeller? if you really are an active member in the moller community i should know you, i think we should meet up for a chat

Grant House

You are right about the freshman class. I know about a kid from Indiana that is coming to X next year named grant house who has put up a 1:41 in his 200 free and a 46 in his 100 free, if he is able to improve he will compete with George and Cope for a state title.

Did you see some of the fantastic times this 14 year old went last weekend? 21.44/46.77/1:39.56, 50.81 fly, 58.75 breast, and 1:55.54 IM. Who ever gets him will have a powerhouse for the next 4 years.

That 200 free would have been 4th in D1, the fly 7th and the others all consoles. This kids is the real deal.

Takes about 15 Bomber swimmers, a team and coaching staff behind them, to win a state championship. Everyone contributes!

I agree 100%.. House will be a huge addition to X but I still believe Moeller, St. Francis, and UA will all have shots next year at a state championship!

You're right to warn folks about the Bears. Runner up is good, but X's days are numbered. Go Bears!

Yes UA will be good, but they are losing Joey Long and that will hurt the team tremendously. St. Xavier is losing a significant amount of kids this year and although their incoming freshman class is stacked, it won't be enough to overcome the deficit of the departing seniors. However, Moeller on the other hand is returning all their individual state scorers as well as rumors of cooper hodge coming back to Moeller. I have also heard from a current swimmer at Moeller that another state qualifier is considering on transferring to Moeller next year. If all these factors fall through I think Moeller could score over 250 points next year, which would put them in a great position to win the state meet. I know I may have a bias and high optimistic views on the Moeller team next year but I believe they are very realistic.

You are wise to put your money on the moeller men of moeller! im going "all in" with this team next year, and im sure the aquasaders will be raking in the glory, and state championships! i truly believe next year will be the start of a dynasty. they had excellent leadership last year, and im sure junior such as greg nymberg and fritzle josephson or chris assgain will step up to the plate and hit a home run! the junior and senior class will be one of the strongest since the days of matt harrison and dieter and joey albers. cant wait to see what the aquasaders cash in next year! i wish i had a time machine so i could fly ahead and watch!!!!!!!:crush:

LMAO

With their lack of talent, lack of discipline, horrific coaching, and non-existent facilities, they will once again be looking up at the Bombers.

I agree this will be Moeller's best team in 15 years...but it won't be nearly as good as STX's team in any of those 15 years...

How many league titles does Moeller have?? How many state titles??

If you ask me, they should clean house (starting, definitely, at the top), and try to instill some dedication and discipline into the team. This, of course, would be nearly impossible with this group, but you might as well try because there is nowhere to go but up at this point...

Without creating any controversy, what is the deal with Risovalto? Why didn't he swim, his early times were off some and is he going to JuCo?

You're right to warn folks about the Bears. Runner up is good, but X's days are numbered. Go Bears!

rjones, UA is hardly a lock to repeat as Central District Champion... how do you figure they will challenge St. X for the state title? Moeller & St. Francis may have legitimate shots, although it is true that St. X typically doesn't rebuild but simply reloads. Nonetheless, as of now it looks like UA will have a battle to stay in the top 5.
