This year’s NFL Draft provided more proof that young athletes are better off participating in more than one sport.

Sixty-three percent of NFL draft picks were track and field athletes in high school. According to TrackingFootball.com, 224 of the 256 players chosen during the draft were multi-sport athletes in high school. Of all draftees, 63% participated in track and field, 48% played basketball and 10% played baseball.

The website also found that one-third (94 players) were three-sport athletes in high school.

73.6% of all statistics are made up. No idea why that came into my head, but it did.
Your post just raised it to 73.7%

There are lies, danged lies, and statistics. Also, don't forget about the statistician who drowned in a river that was an average of 6 inches deep.

I'm getting ready to leave work and go to the league meet. It's odd. Streetsboro is a very good team. Very fast. Ranked 1-2 in the 100,200,400 and 1st in 4x100, 4x200, 4x400. Came in 3rd in the 4x800 8:05 three team under 8:05 aint bad. My number one hurdler is hurt and cant go, so they ar ranked 1-3 in the hurdles... With all that, We should beat them! I don't know how.

Apparently their fast guys can't jump high or far along with nobody that can throw things very far.

They did well in the throws. HJ and LJ were their only weak events scoring wise. They will be a force at the state meet. 4x800 under 8:10 4x400 @ 3:25.8 4x200 @ 1:29.86 4x100 @ 43.35 two guys that can score in the 100 (11.14 -11.25) 200 (22.52-22.88) Not sure how many of their kids are football kids, but they get speed every year. If they stay healthy the next 3 weeks, watch out. Young too.
