From St Bernard Elmwood Place:
Great scrimmage tonight vs Ludlow and a nice win 24-21…. Still have work to do, back on the grind Monday
 
New Philadelphia:
A good start as New Philadelphia topped Northwest Indians 2-0 in an opening scrimmage today. Trevor Bean scored on a 66-yard TD run and Tetzloff Konnor picked off a pass for a 38-yard pick-6. We’ll build on this and keep an eye on the Aug. 19 opener.
 
Avon @ Massillon

Avon pretty much had their way with the Tigers through the air and on the ground. They used several different formats throughout so it's kids hard to get a score, maybe someone else can help out with the score but Avon scored more for sure. Avon QB is very accurate, runners run hard. Massillon's Slaughter showed that his arm absolutely got stronger in the offseason. Massillon's Willtrell Hartson ran well as expected.

Not sure of a score but Avon put it to us today from what I saw. Lot of work to do in Tiger town. Good luck to Avon the rest of the year. Best wishes to the young man for Avon that was helped off the field. Hate seeing that

Willoughby South 7
Played two Qtrs
WS score came at end of 2nd against backup corner
Aurora QB1 only played first Qtr and a couple plays in 2nd Qtr
Greenmen looked tough
 
Alter looked better than Beavercreek and Meadowdale in controlled play (20 play sets). Beavercreek has decent numbers 60+, and looked more diverse offensively. Still work to do on defense, but generally better early under the Colvin regime. Alter is not physically intimidating but showed some talent. M ycount was +/- 55 players. Meadowdale dressed under 40. Did not show a lot on either side of the ball while i was there.
