You'd think the big schools would do so much better than that.

Doesn't seem to be too long ago that boys games at St. John Arena could regularly fill those 13k+ seats, regardless who was playing.

How times have changed. ?

That, and general apathy towards high school sports.
People just don't support their schools like before, even the large schools.
But you have a valid point about watching on TV from home.
Easy, no driving anywhere.
Just relax in the comforts of home. Can even get drunk if you want.
 
I imagine the crowd for Pick Central vs. Centerville will be much more impressive. Once we got the second high school in Pickerington, the "community" support for sports went away. I support both Pick North and Central but I'm the exception (I think). My son played at Central and daughter at North so I just root for whichever has the team most likely to win a championship.
