I'd think that the school actually self imposing penalties is pretty damning to his defense. His lawyers can bluster all they want but it sounds like the school isn't going to rush to his defense and it's the school that's the OHSAA member.

I also posted this on the VASJ thread.. Looks like the football program is autonomous from the school.

I think that can be distinguished by the fact that the other school stood behind the coach and hired the lawyer to fight the whole mess. That doesn't appear to be the situation here.

Let me get this straight....some of you guys think the VASJ administration, AD and the like we're totally in the dark about this whole situation? They thought it was a coincidence that they hired a coach whose last stop was Euclid.... ....and now we have 10 or 15 players from Euclid "transferring" to our school? Come on fellas, you're smarter than that, well....some of you are.

Went to Nord/Benny game, sat next to a guy who was an asst principal at bedford when Jr was at Chanel, He say Coach Hodacovek escort JR out of the Hesket jr high locker room catching him talking to kids, reported to ohsaa then between 97-99. Yep he's a real rule follower!

Some of these idiots who do the hiring are clueless. I get winning is important, but at what expense ? Guys get fired many times and some these schools continue to hire these people over and over. HS sports isn’t the Big 10 or NFL. What are these HS ‘s teaching our kids ? Many good people /coaches out there , but some of these other people should Never be allowed to coach again. Just my own thoughts. Good luck everyone.

My hat is off for Lake Catholic and Euclid for their fine effort this season. This is Lake's final year for they will be shuttering the doors in May. I will be at the garage sale to purchase some memorabilia.
