Outlook:
We will look to score in a variety of ways this winter. Want to create easy transition baskets from defense and if those aren't there I would like to see us work the offense from the inside out.

Stay healthy and focus on each other as a WHOLE. Play the game for each other and their community that supports them.

Kylie McCulloch is a versatile guard who can play all three positions. She has found her way to being one of our primary ball handlers. Three year starter who can knock down a perimeter jumper as well as score off the dribble. Calming presence on both ends of floor. Leads by example.

Abby White and Porter Smith will be asked to step up into bigger roles this winter. They both nursed injuries most of last year but are back with something to prove. Porter with her instant offense mentality and Abby with her bulldozer offensive style can be assets to this team. Melanie Plecko and Rylee Durbak will be the defensive catalysts for us as they are very quick physical defenders. They both are spectacular in transition scoring. At times both will have to manage the offense as well. Kelsie Hamrick is as versatile as it gets. She is going to see the floor at many positions and have many responsibilities but is the perfect person for it. A TEAM first mindset and that's what we need from a utility player. Kelsie will fill any role needed nightly. Keep an eye out for Addy Germann and Sasha Nichs as well. They are chomping at the bit for an opportunity to shine. They both have solid offensive skillsets and defensive grit which could help them get some action at 7pm.

Nadia Lough and Lindsay Smith will man the stretch four spot on the floor for us on both ends. Lindsay is a very long lanky defender who alters a ton of shots on defense. Couple that with her ability to rebound and start the fast break she becomes a difficult matchup for opponents nightly. Nadia Lough does it all. She defends rebounds scores passes leads vocally as well as by example. This kid is passionate about basketball and puts in the work to be great at all aspects of the game. Offense defense x and I u name it she craves it. She avg a double double a year ago and expects more from herself this winter.

Aubrey Kline and Brooklynn McIntyre will bolster our paint presence. Aubrey brings a tough physical style to our roster. She is a great interior defender with an excellent midrange game paired with a knack for scoring while attacking the rim. Brooklynn McIntyre has taken on a new mindset this year. She has emerged as one of our leaders on the floor. She can score from 15 feet and has developed herself into one of the best back to the basket scorers I have ever coached. The post play from the Rovers is going to be our strength on offense and defense.

We return a lot of letterwinners from a team that learned what it took to be a championship caliber team. The championship didn't stop them from finding the gym in the offseason. As a matter of fact I feel it made several of them hungrier to make it a tradition around RTOWN.

Sasha Nichols and Addy Germann are making a push to see the floor from ti.e to time. Sasha gets to rim with the best of them and Addy can get hot from behind the arc. Keep an eye out for those two this year and the next two.

Kylie McCulloch quiet but is a voice of reason. Very mature young lady who is always composed. When she speaks people want to hear. Great teams need that player. Nadia Lough leads by example. She is 100% the hardest working kid in the gym daily. Empowers the others and encourages the others to work as hard and dedicate as much. Has become a vocal leader at practice on the bench and in the huddle. Brooklynn McIntyre leads by default. People naturally look to her for guidance and leadership. Great teammate who has developed an even tougher style of play this offseason. Stay tuned..

The ROVERS are still attempting to relive the 80s in girls basketball. We have another shot at it this winter. #23 is on their minds.

I have no causes for concern. These ladies are wonderful to coach and I look forward to being in the gym with them daily. We have the pieces and mentality to do very well again this year.

Mogadore returns the POY. SOUTHEAST has a tradition of excellence and JFK got a transfer from Jackson Milton. Don't sleep on the Rovers!
