The Logan Elm Lady Braves softball team enters the 2025 season with high expectations, following a standout 2021 campaign that yielded a 21-9 record and a Regional Championship title. Head Coach Jamey Binkley returns for his second season, tasked with replacing six key seniors while maintaining the program's momentum.

The Lady Braves return a strong core group of players, including Sadie Binkley, Ryleigh Wolfe, Peyton Richendollar, and Lucy Caplinger. These players will provide leadership and stability to the team, and they'll be joined by new impact player Morgan Armold.

One of the team's strengths is its pitching, which was a key factor in last year's success. The Lady Braves also boast better overall team speed and are versatile in the field, which will allow them to be aggressive on the basepaths and make plays defensively.

However, the team will need to work on replacing the experience and leadership of last year's senior class. The Lady Braves will also need to adjust to varsity pitching, which can be a challenge for younger players.

Despite these challenges, Coach Binkley is confident that the team has a lot of potential. "We have a good core group of players back from last year's Regional Championship team," he said. "However, we lost a lot of varsity experience and leadership with the graduation of six seniors."
The Lady Braves will need to come together quickly and adjust to the varsity level if they want to achieve success this season. With a strong leadership core and some talented young players, Logan Elm is looking to make another deep run in the playoffs.

The Lady Braves will continue their season against South Webster on March 18 and then face Adena on March 20.
