The game is scheduled to be on Sports Time Ohio at 11:00 tonight. Not sure if the rain delay will change that.

Congratulations to Coach Heppe and the Lady Panthers. Way to close out a fantastic season. Wherever you go and whatever you do, for the rest of your life, you have earned a title that will always be with you, and that is ..."State Champion".

State Champs.....
Couple of thoughts..
1) Driving in to Firestone Stadium Sat, it was reassuring and a prideful sight seeing the big black "Perry P" flag flying high
2) I was impressed by the Panther's offense the entire game
3) My hat is off to both teams for the the class demonstrated by both teams after the game. Both teams handled the game's outcome with grace and style. Teams congratulated each other shortly after the outcome was final, unlike the first championship game in which the two teams never did shake hands after their game.
4) Rohr's changeup...awesome...
5) Firestone Park..what a great facility for these state title games...

I watched the game last night, and Rohr's changeup was wicked. Kid can deal!!! Congrats to the lady panthers!

We watched the game on replay last night with our neighbors and it was really exciting! PERRY PANTHERS..STATE CHAMPS! Has a great ring to it, doesn't it?

Got to witness Perry's first team State Title in person and it brought a tear to my eye.
Congrats to the Panthers and Coach Heppe. Great job! A State Championship is not easy to accomplish and it will bond these girls and coaches for the rest of their lives.
My son and I were up their twice yesterday and it is worth the wait.
We can't say it enough, Perry Panthers D1, State Softball Champions.

Seniors
I heard that the 6 seniors on the team have been playing together since they were 12 years old. At AGE 12 they set this goal for themselves because at that time the Perry Softball team was in the final four.
With all the changes that have been going on over there at Perry this should bring your community together.

Nothing like a good old fashion butt kicking in the State Finals of the "#1 ranked team in the state".
No respect for the FL all year. I guess the pollsters are just tired of look at a FL team on top of the polls.
They can have the rankings... the FL will just keep rolling on the field.
