perry advances 5-0

GC's pitcher is tough no doubt (headed to Miami I think?) and would have to be included in the short list for debate of best in state.... but others would have a say as well.

You were right, she is thought to be among the very best in the state. She had 4 no-hitters and two perfect games this year and 10 no hitters over the past two years. She was 24-1 this year going into today's game. Without her, Grove City wouldn't have sniffed regionals.

For all we know, she left the game with an injury or something.

Either way, congrats to Perry.....great job!
 
Even good pitchers get hit sometime.... congrats to GC on the great tourney run and to the Panthers on the title.
 
Grove City pitcher Paige Myeres pitched the whole game. Perry hit her hard, no easy outs. Even if struck someone out she had to throw 7 - 8 pitches.
