And for the record Jordan & Banks are NOT the same as Greene & Gaetz. Jordan is a ranking House Judiciary Committee Member and Banks is a Republican Study Committee Chairman. You may not like that they are allies of Trump and hard core conservatives but that should not disqualify them from serving on this committee. After all Liz Cheney, a hardcore Trump hater, was put on the committee.
In fact Banks & Jordan's support of Trump make them excellent candidates for the committee. They are among only a handful of congressional Republicans that the GOP base would actually trust to conduct a fair hearing.
You are simply afraid of the inconvenient questions these two would have asked starting with why did Pelosi turn down Trump's request for deployment of the National Guard AHEAD of his rally on 1/6?

No. The creatures that run the democrat party can't even stomach having two Trump supporters on the 1/6 committee. They are not in the least bit interested in finding out what really happened on January 6. And any doubt about this was just blown away with Pelosi's decision to not accept the only two republicans most of us would trust.

I really agree that their should be some Trump supporters on the committee, but Jordan does nothing but shout, interrupt, and impede any real discussion of anything. He’s a phony. I enjoyed Liz Cheney’s version of Jordan during the actual attack on the Capitol. Phony offered to protect her after being one of the people most responsible for spreading the Big Lie. This committee is necessary and should only have members who are open to listening and really trying to find the truth. Jordan knows that it would lead to Trump and he wouldn’t let that happen.

Jordan went to the WH with MT. Greene on Jan 5 to discuss the strategy for Jan 6. with Trump. That is a fact. He helped plan it, and has defended it ever since. Try reading the comments from Banks yesterday about the committee. This was the day before McCarthy even announced who the Republicans would be. Both are incapable of participating in any attempt at an objective investigation. Jordan is barely more legitimate than Greene as a Congressman and leader regardless of his committee assignments. When Trump is finished, so is Jordan, Greene, Gaetz and any others like them. What’s the last piece of legitimate legislation Jordan has introduced? He’s a joke. Every Republican and most Democrats are intimidated to death by Cheney. Why? Because she’s not afraid to speak the truth and knows what the Republican Party used to stand for. You’re right, she is going to rip Trump a new one on this committee, and she’s going to do it by simply exposing the truth. And, yes, I think many of you are idiots.
