I hope you are correct but ................. NCAA time is crazy. So many upsets. Hopefully we are on the side of winning those upsets.

D'Emilio/Paniro 2nd rd. isn't a bad matchup. Feldman beats Kueter next time.
I only want to wrestle McCrone and Bouzakis first rd. Mendez/Bartlett Semi is fine.
Shumate has tough first match. Rogotzke could pin his way to Keckeisen.
Cannon has a path to the semi. Kharch and Paddy didn't get any favors.
Top six this season would surprise some folks...
Little over a week. Go BUCKEYES...

I think 4 would be a solid showing, 3 would be a little disappointing and 5 would be above my expectations and would give me hope for next year.
I think it's highly unlikely, and it would be best case scenario, But in order of likelihood. I have 141,157, 133, 174, HWT, 149, 125, 165, 197, 184.

133 (only not expected since he starts so slow sometimes),174, HWT, 149
So we'd only have 2 more guys really have to over perform greatly to hit that 8 mark.
125 - weight class has been insane for the last two years and mccrone has shown he can beat anyone and lose to anyone.
I think 165, 197, and 184 all could make a run and i wouldn't be surprised although extremely unlikely.

I mean, clearly, they are mine. I thought they were pretty generous. 4 AA for the buckeyes, and I even threw Shumate a win. That should give me some bonus props on its own.

There are a bunch of "fans" that would rather see failure and call it out then look for the good. Sad sad culture
Im proud of the bucks. People don't realize what a guy like shumate has gone through for the TEAM. He was set to compete for the spot at 197. Trained hard. Lifted hard. Got himself up to 215 so he could be a good size for the weight. Doesnt get the spot. Ryder gets hurt. For the team, he cuts to 184. Then geog gets hurt so he is back at 197. That's hard on a guy trying to be a stud in the big 10. He was a couple borderline takedown calls from being a much higher seed. Will he aa? I dunno. It's not looking good,but I'm rooting like he'll for a really really good kid.
