You are correct as basketball and baseball are far different. I'd just think an all state player as a junior would get noticed, evidently I'm wrong and you have to attend a high profile football program for this.I know that many people want to believe that “they’ll find you anywhere”, and that statement has become more true in the modern era, but playing at a good program and against other good programs still matters. Frankly, it matters more so in football as well because unlike baseball and basketball and individual sports you can’t go play on some AAU or travel team in the offseason to showcase yourself on a bigger stage or in front of college coaches.
