Or more likely a loss will make them all the worseGuess what all those years have in common? No national title for Notre Dame … nor Ohio State.
A Notre Dame win Monday night for the national title would instantly trump all six of those games combined in terms of importance.
Interesting.
If that map is correct than only 9 from Ohio on ND's roster. 20 years ago, I am sure that number was much higher. Want to win a NC you have to recruit nationally and hit the TP.Interesting.
The 2024 OSU football roster of 120 players list only 52 players from Ohio. That is how recruiting has changed since Tressel.
So give us a prediction for Monday. Let us know if it is from your heart or from your brain.Guess what all those years have in common? No national title for Notre Dame … nor Ohio State.

You are spot on. That's the new reality of college sports. If that map is correct than only 9 from Ohio on ND's roster. 20 years ago, I am sure that number was much higher. Want to win a NC you have to recruit nationally and hit the TP.
If Ohio State wins at least we can look forward to seeing the game again in 60 on the Big Ten Network.I am looking forward to all the TV timeouts. Seems like the bigger the game, the number of commercials are shown.
Yep. I have done that too. Some non Ohio State games I have started recording the game, wait an hour or so, then watch the game fast forwarding through the commercials. I catch up to the live coverage and still watch the majority of the game live.If Ohio State wins at least we can look forward to seeing the game again in 60 on the Big Ten Network.
Part of it is that Ohio talent has been overall down for several years. Notre Dame regularly visits the GCL, Iggy and Ed’s, and has great connections at Huber Heights Wayne and Lakota West now, and they would covet any players that they thought that could play at a high enough level. There just haven’t been that many.If that map is correct than only 9 from Ohio on ND's roster. 20 years ago, I am sure that number was much higher. Could very well be.Rumors out there that Knowles is headed to Oklahoma and Al Golden to the Bengals after this game.
My wife just ran into the Ohio St football team in Atlanta. The woman knows nothing about football or me and my son's obsession with Ohio St football.
She and her co-worker start bombing me with pictures and videos.
Then my wife adds, "I got some autographs for you." I asked her who. She says, "IDK, these guys" and she sends me a pic of Will Howard and Jack Sawyer. Me and my son about shite our pants. Lol
Losing Knowles to Oklahoma over a woman would be the dumbest thing ever.Rumors out there that Knowles is headed to Oklahoma and Al Golden to the Bengals after this game.

What is the “woman” rumor?Losing Knowles to Oklahoma over a woman would be the dumbest thing ever.
His fiancé lives there, if reports are to be believed. Seems reasonable, considering Bjork could back up the Brinks truck. Why else would you go back to Oklahoma? Lol.What is the “woman” rumor?
So can Okie, Okie (donors) has more money than OSU.His fiancé lives there, if reports are to be believed. Seems reasonable, considering Bjork could back up the Brinks truck. Why else would you go back to Oklahoma? Lol.
Perhaps, but I have no doubt that Bjork could match any offer the Sooners put forward. If this truly happens, it’s sounding like more of a personal decision if his fiancé has no desire to move.So can Okie, Okie (donors) has more money than OSU.
No. She is down there on business. Coming back tonight. She runs a garden center and goes on these buying trips. All the vendors gather at Marketplace downtown, so it's a convenient and efficient way to stock her store.Do you live in Atlanta?
From the Notre Dame people I know, they say Golden is staying. His salary at ND would be top 5 for a coordinator in the NFL and his son just started his freshman year at ND. Already turned down an approach to be Temple HC again.Rumors out there that Knowles is headed to Oklahoma and Al Golden to the Bengals after this game.
Are the people whose wedding you attended happily married today?Recently watched Big 10 60 minutes OSU vs ND in 95. I missed that game due to a wedding. ND really self imploded with turnovers. Both Powlus and Hoying missed some open receivers
Oh well, now on to 96..... I think I worked that day and missed it too
Married the Saturday of an Iowa game at home, still married 36 years later. Actually going to the game on Monday. Are the people whose wedding you attended happily married today?
I have this theory that couples who plan fall Saturday weddings are pure evil and will never be happy.
Don't disprove my theory.![]()
Damn you. Lol.Married the Saturday of an Iowa game at home, still married 36 years later. Actually going to the game on Monday.
I don’t have a clue other than the nature of recruiting duties why he’d go join a lame-duck Bengals coaching staff over staying at ND and parading over college football. From the Notre Dame people I know, they say Golden is staying.
