The Buckeyes (9-3, 3-3 Big) led by 22 then watched as Rutgers made a little run to cut it to eight before finally getting the lead back to double digits and then win by 11 points. The Buckeyes outrebounded the Silver Knights (7-4, 3-4 Conf) 38-27. Ohio State outshot the Silver Knights 51%-43.9%. Duane Washington Jr. (Grand Rapids, MI) led the Buckeyes balanced attack with 17 points and 2 steals. E.J.Liddell (Belleville, IL) added 15 points, 6 boards, and 2 assists. For Rutgers who have lost 4 of 5 Jacob Young (Houston, TX) had a game-high 19 points.

He didn't do much, but Meechie Johnson made his first appearance and played briefly. Depending on how badly Sotos is dinged up, Meechie may be getting some immediate minutes as Walker will likely also be out for multiple games.
