Ohio Heritage Conference 2024

Does anyone know if they are streaming the Plains game tomorrow night anywhere?
I can't find an actual reported stream, but I did find this link:

It looks like *maybe* it will be streamed on here?

Good luck to all OHC teams tonight!

Thanks Color!! I looked everywhere and I did see that but didn’t know how trustworthy it is.

If MP can get the win tonight I think there is a real chance they possibly get a home game. # 14 Deer Park is 4-6 with a respectable SoS, as for CCD who is the # 2 has the 3rd worst SoS. CCD could be on upset alert

#1 Greeneview vs #16 Graham - Gview S champ stays undefeated at home with big win; too much v too little (48-10)

#2 West Liberty Salem vs #15 Arcanum - WLS N champ in bruising fashion wins big at home; again too much v too little (45-7)

#12 Fairbanks @ #5 Waterford - Fbanks coming off close, tough loss last week, but playing with tons of confidence; gets the road win with plenty of big plays (52-21)

#14 Mechanicsburg @ #3 Ridgewood - Burg's wins are against weaker teams than the Generals but Burg keeps it close; gotta go with Ridgewood at home (28-24)

#8 Northeastern vs #9 Miami Valley Christian - I think NE rolls at home in this one; tougher schedule with OHC better balanced helps this year (35-20)

#10 Madison-Plains @ #7 Rock Hill - upset special of the week; Plains gets good win for OHC on the road, if they can survive the trip (24-21)

#14 Southeastern @ #3 Cincinnati College Prep - okay OHC ends wins for the week; SE takes it on the chin on the road (36-10)

#16 Cedarville @ #1 Marion Local - big kudos for Indians taking the trip and showing up!!!, but tough 1st game at ML (56-7)

Good luck to all the OHC teams!!!

Cedarville has opted out of the playoffs due to injuries and a decreased roster. Marion Local is now playing Ft. Recovery, who they beat 62-0 in week 8.

If you wanted to see the worst coaching performances ever, you got to see it tonight at WJ.
Coach Buescher outdone himself tonight!
After NE went for 2 up 38-13, coach B decided to slap EVERY WJ fan in the face at the 7 minute mark in the 4th quarter and start running the ball against the NE JV team.
And if that wasn’t bad enough, on 4th down, he put the JV an in on 4th down and throw the ball.
I figured down by 27 he might want to score again.
Down 7-0, WJ punted on 4th down on The NE 45 yard line in the 1st quarter which should have never happened.
A few plays and a few less mistakes, WJ could have been in this game.
But anyways, it’s time for a coaching change at HC and on defense.
And I’m not the only one here, there are lots of others, many others!
Has to be one of the dumbest comments i have seen in a long time! One bad season does not equal a coaching change.

I think Burg will be able to score on offense, just don’t think the Defense will be able to stop the Rushing attack of Ridgewood
If the OHC isn't on a down year, Burg will keep it close with Ridgewood. Greeneview, WLS, and Northeastern will roll. Fairbanks will win by 2 scores, and Madison Plains (with injuries taken into account) will fight until the last whistle.

If any of that doesn't happen, it's likely going be a quick postseason for the OHC.

To quote my WLS buddy........................UN-KUDOS!!!!!

On the bright side, it does give OHC one less loss this week.

Dropped TD pass on 3rd and 10 last drive will haunt the Burg. Ridgewood I thought would be a lot better than that, Burg once again killed themselves with turnovers and penalties.

WLS 41, Arcanum 26. Tigers jumped up 21-0, had the ball and were driving to go up 4 scores in the second; then seemed to go into complacency mode. Need to be better next week vs Miami East

This was all “close” to happening except the Fairbanks game. Curious what happened there?

Southeastern put up a fight too.

Greeneview and Northeastern have tough Week 12 games. WLS can’t sleep on Miami East, but should be a favorite at home.

From start to finish, Fairbanks did not get off the bus. Not sure if the 2.5 hr drive left them sleeping or they were just outmatched. Waterford dominated the line of scrimmage and opened holes all night for their QB and RB power runs. I do not have the final stats but I would say Waterford 250 yards rushing to Fairbanks 80 yards. Watching and hearing the sidelines, the Panthers were showing a lack of communication, energy or even life. It was a complete rewind to the first few games of the year and nothing like the team we have seen the last 7-8 weeks of the season.
The only reason we scored 21 was because of kickoff return TDs. (2 TDs and one that got field possession deep in Waterford territory)

Great season for the Panthers, 100% did better than anyone thought, but not a good finish.

It happens. 2019 WLS checked out after week 12. Coaches have talked about how you could see it in practice all week too. Sucks, but happens. Great year by Fairbanks, love the direction they’re heading. Hope you all make it over to WLS next Friday night

How could the 2019 WLS team have check out after week 12 with a looming rematch with WJ in week 13? WLS was simply overwhelmed in the rematch. If those two teams played 10 times, WJ would have won 8 of them. The WJ oline & Gabe Jones were simply too much.

Back to 2024, WLS and the rest of Region 20 catches a break with Versailles getting knocked out. Greeneview is the slight favorite with WLS, Waynesville and Indian Lake all having a really good shot. A Regional Championship is in reach for all of these schools - I believe it would be a first for each. The Region 20 champ will be a massive underdog in week 14 to whomever they would play but hey, what a great opportunity.

Didn’t bring it up to cause a debate. And I don’t know the answer to that, just sharing what was said (before that game) to help a fellow yappi poster understand that it happens.
