Someone needs to help this man update that cool website lol. I had to google a few images to replace what he had shown. Also, can't believe SCC and Southeastern aren't even listed.

Hallinean Field open date- 1692 or earlier?? Those away bleachers seem like they’ve been rotting for centuries.
Wheelchair Access: After the game for visiting fans.

Jokes aside (someone said they were finally updating that earlier in this thread), I actually like the "feel" of Hallinean Field a lot. Just needs some updates.

1. Triad's new facility
2. Although the score does not reflect it, I thought the playoff game in 2019 between WJ and WLS was one of the best environments I've seen at a
high school football game.
3. The Tee-Pee at Cedarville is awesome! It is a sacred tradition that only the football players are allowed to walk through. There is a ton of school
pride that goes into making it each year.

Interesting. Awesome atmosphere created by the best PA announcing in Ohio, or what?

Be careful of the “Another Tiger first down” calls. Last time that happen and WLS had a rematch in the playoffs it didn’t go so well for the Tigers.

The 2019 West Liberty - West Jeff rematch in the playoffs (WJ 34-0) was highly anticipated because of the very exciting but somewhat sloppy regular season game (WLS 42-39). The playoff game was missing something……the “That’s another Tiger first down”. If you don’t like it, then do something about it.

Both WJ & WSL along with Mechanicsburg were very talented that year. WJ had a college D3 type oline in size & skill and RB Gabe Jones - it set them apart.

FYI. The WJ center in that game Shane Bumgardner was a 2x D2 All American at Tiffin and was the Dave Remington award winner last season. He transferred to Kansas and is playing some at Guard.

Actually, that's not changed since 2018 (except COVID year). I'm surprised you didn't realize that, there were quite a few of them again this year. ;)

Oh yes, there were definitely quite a few but that’s a WJ problem. WJ is bad, WLS we think is good but how good?

You gonna stay for the whole WLS playoffs games this year? In Region 20 Greeneview is the favorite with Waynesville & WLS definitely in contention. May come down to who can avoid Versailles. If Versailles is healthy, that will be the team no one wants to face.

I don't think WLS is as good as last year, but they've shocked me all season.

I don't ever leave, lol. I think Versailles wins Region 20, I also think Bath is a bad draw for someone. Can Greeneview, Waynesville, or WLS beat Versailles? With a perfect game plan and execution.

Wow week 10 already!!! Big game for North title on tap and teams getting positioned for playoffs.

As far as best stadiums.....................Love both the rivalry and going to WLS and Burg, it makes the location even better. Both have somewhat annoying announcers, but as my WJ brethren have indicated, if you take care of business you won't hear much of that noise anyways!!! Also agree WJ was electric small school stadium on Friday nights 10 years ago and prior, but just is not the same now.

Good luck to everyone and hope some teams do the OHC proud in the playoffs.

Fairbanks 7-2 (4-0) at West Liberty-Salem 8-1 (4-0) ..........and the title goes to WLS; I think WLS defense is better and Fbanks offense is better but being a defensive guy, I think WLS defense will stay the course at home and pull out a win to remain undefeated in North play. (28-17)

Northeastern 5-4 (1-3) at West Jefferson 3-6 (1-3) - No more upset special calls as WJ got embarrassed at Fbanks last week!!!! May have been one of worst regular season losses I have witnessed in several years. WJ loses this week as well to finish up a dismal 3-7 and thankfully not in the playoffs. (No they do NOT deserve to be in playoffs even if they win) Can NE end up with home game in round 1 with a win? (35-20)

Triad 1-8 (0-4) at Mechanicsburg 6-3 (2-2) - Burg coming off big win last week, clinched playoff spot and will continue to roll at home in week 10 and head into playoffs with 2 game winning streak. (35-10)

Greeneview 9-0 (4-0) at Cedarville 4-5 (2-2) - Gview completes the undefeated season and stays in top 4 of region for 2 game homestand in playoffs. Has the potential to be a quite interesting region!!! (49-10)

Madison Plains 5-4 (3-1) at Catholic Central 2-7 (0-4) - MP takes the show on the road and picks up another important win on the road to secure 2nd place in South; and sets them up for perhaps a winnable round 1 game? Good effort by coaches & players, especially after losing QB. (28-10)

Greenon 1-8 (1-3) at Southeastern 3-6 (2-2) - Seems like SE has more to play for the Greenon and being at home I am giving them the edge. Can they slip into playoff spot with win, we will see. (21-14)

Predictions for playoffs for every team in the OHC(in playoff contention)

Division 5 Region 20
# 15 Graham @ # 2 Greeneview - Very impressive for the falcons to make the playoffs especially being a very young team and having one of the harder schedules in D5, this Greeneview team is just to good and it won’t be very close. Rams 49-8

# 14 Arcanum @ # 3 West Liberty Salem - Arcanum has the 6th worst SoS in all of D5 and on the road against the Tigers they won’t fare well, Tigers win 49-7

Division 6 Region 23

# 12 Fairbanks @ # 5 Grove City Christian - GCHS has had the 3rd worst SOS in D6 and Fairbanks has the 2nd best back in Region 23. Banks with the win 49-28

# 13 Mechanicsburg @ # 4 Fort Frye - One of the better round 1 matchups in the D6, this game can go either way. Fort Frye has possibly the best RB in Region 23 with Clayton Miller and Burg has shown to be incapable of stopping the run, Fort Frye is young and has been hit hard with injuries. Fort Frye wins a close 34-28

West Jefferson - close loss to NE and are kept out at the 18th seed

Divison 6 Region 24

# 9 Madison Plains @ # 8 Northeastern - MP was probably the most surprising OHC team and it was an incredible year but the Jets are battle tested and more talented, Jets win 35-13

Division 7 Region 28

# 16 Southeastern @ # 1 Marion Local - If there is any game that should start with a running clock it’s this one, Flyers win 70-0

Cedarville is left out as 17 seed after a loss to Greeneview

That drive will suck

1. Stadium, would go with Madison-Plains. It is a nice view being surrounded by nothing but farm land on every side, not a building or town in sight. Northeastern is also nice having a great view of I70.

2. Environment, West Jeff or Greeneview. I remember arriving at West Jeff at 5:45 before the game and there were lots of fans in the vicinity of the complex. Greeneview has a stadium with an “in-town” feel and is usually packed. I would say Jamestown is one of those towns that shuts down for football games.

3. Entrance would have to be Mechanicsburg. The walk down the hill is intimidating!

Overall, I would say the OHC has some great stadiums that are each unique in its own way. Some great “in town” stadiums. I haven’t been to one I disliked. I have my gripes about some of them.
Best part of a trip to West Jeff is Ann and Tony’s before the game.

Yeah, I was actually a little disappointed in the environment at WJ my last 2 trips. I always remembered it being electric and packed there.

The lack of fans and excitement must be due to all of those “move ins” not liking football as they like to call them out there. 😂🤣😂🤣😂😂

Northeastern 26 West Jeff 0 halftime, congratulations Northeastern on the win, so glad this horrible season is finally over

WLS / Fairbanks tonight may replace the 2019 WJ/WLS game as the best I’ve watched. It’s close.

WLS 29, Fairbanks 27 Final

WLS used their timeouts to force a punt down 27-26 with under 2 minutes. Drove 80+ yards to hit a 29 yard field goal with :11 to go (after 2 missed PATs).

Hats off to Fairbanks on a great game and regular season.
