Ohio Heritage Conference 2022

Not sure how WJ will do at NE?
Right now, the riders are so banged up with several injuries and some key starters out.
If the play calling gets better and wj can hold onto the ball they can stay in it offensively.
On defense, wj has given up a ton of yards on the ground this year.
Hopefully, they can play their best game this year!

NE is really good on both sides of the ball...they are legit....goodluck

From what I hear, WJ coaches will have their boys ready for a game. But I am going with the Jets on the W after a hard fought game.
 
i think Greenon has decided to pack it in for the year. they just looked uninspired.

this was Cedarville’s first win over Greenon since before the beginning of the 21st century.
 
Maybe some that lives in Wj can provide some information due to not living in town anymore and haven’t for the past 12!yesrs. I thought I read somewhere on here what Wj was going to have some classes that were loaded after the mass amount of seniors exited last year? It made it sound like it was a reload of talent instead of a development year. Just curious.
 
Burg won 34-12 last night but suffered a loss. Our RB/LB came out for the second half on crutches. Appears to have suffered a knee injury.

I am right here. WJ is very young this year, along with a freshman QB. And around 7 starters out hurt. No EXCUSES HERE. Plain and simple we got beat by the better team

I’ll take NE over Burg, they just seem to be controlling teams. Burg will be ready and very well coached but I just think this is NE year. To this point they seem to be faster than anyone else in all parts of the game. The skill guys are great. The RB crew… wow. Last week they ran their big RB most the game. Their starting RB had many nice runs and is lighting fast. Nice punch with #8 and #6 I believe. They have another RB #22. Might be faster than both the others. They just use the guy who seems to be working.

They couldnt run on Greeneview. They tried to use their big guy and he got stuffed. Yes, they are fast and very talented but they are beatable. If Jamestown had stopped even just 2 big passes, Northeastern would of lost the game. They definitely exposed a weak sport in our defense but we hung with them all the way to the end. I dont think Burg will have a prayer. I think it will be 40-0 possibly.

I also took WLS. I havent seen WLS or WJ play this year but it sounds like WJ has a bunch of hurt starters. Seems like it could hurt them Friday night.

Well, take away the 5 turnovers, NE wins by 4 scores. It's high school football, these things happen.
