Rees’ track record of QBs he’s recruited & “develope”

Jurkovec
Clark
Pyne
Buchner
Angeli

4 busts and 1 likely bust.
We have talked about this at length. I never cared for Rees's offense and play calling. It will be interesting to see how he does at Bama. The Crimson Tide talent usually makes any OC/DC look pretty good but they have had some above average offensive minds IMO as well (Kiffin, Sark, O'Brien).

Lets see if Parker can develop better. Regardless, they need another one or two portal kids.

Guidugli in in charge of the QBs. He has a better track record than Rees solely based on what he did with Ridder.

The best surprise of the entire Spring was the DL. Jason Onye looks to be one of the projects recruited by Mike Elston, that will pay off. Not only him, but Bothello at Edge, Cross at NT and Tyson Ford at DT all looked good.

Not thrilled they’re going to be running the same awful trio of LBs they started last yr. However, they will not be playing as many snaps as last season.

The hits keep coming. Nothing is settled in recruiting, especially nowadays with immediate transfer eligibility, but Chicago 5* DT Justin Scott, who has long been assumed a ND lean, was just crystal balled to Miami by Wiltfong in 24/7 sports.

Down goes the Holy Trinity
Buchner & Styles leaving made sense. Not sure why Diggs is leaving to go to a team to get more carries. He’s not a Bijan Robinson, he was never going to be a high round pick. Splitting Carrie’s would save some wear & tear on his body.

ND is visiting him today. Also, do you know how often Wiltfong flips his CBs? A lot. Look at how many times he changed it for Dylan Raiola

Frequently. He’s also dealing with teenagers who change their mind because the wind blows in a different direction. He only puts one in if he has good intel. Maybe he still signs with ND. But either way, it’s a bad sign for ND who has long been the favorite and seems to be struggling on the recruiting trail for defensive players.

I’m not going to act like it’s good news, but all intel points to him wanting to stay close to home.

Expect ND to pick up a commitment from Bryant Young’s son today and Brian Urlacher’s son on Monday.

Young is a legit solid 4*, Urlacher kinda sucks and is only being bc of his name.

If only ND had a DB coach with a reputation of putting 1st round Corners in the NFL… wait

Pitiful, ND should be ashamed taking this commitment. Defensive Recruiting in this class is hot garbage

Judging from his offer list, the Acadamies and an Ivy, there's no shame. He's a no-lose recruit. Also a legit athlete. The star system has its weaknesses. It's soley focused on measurables. Each staff has to have people that can see beyond that. Let's visit your comment in a couple years, see who was right: the star system or ND's eyes-on.

His offers suck. Programs in the Midwest like Iowa, Kansas St, Ok St, who live off identifying 3* talent, passed on him. This is so bad.

Starting to think with this commitment that Ohio State is in the drivers seat for the linebacker from Bosco.
