Northwest Conference 2024

Bluffton played like they havent got hit in the mouth all year and folded the moment they did.
If they want to beat grove they are going to have to play someone of their caliber before hand. Obviously they dont control conference games, but they do have sole control of their non conference games. I understand playing pg, but to get to the next level theres no reason they should be playing ben logan and ayersville while grove is testing themselves against the likes of patrick henry and liberty benton.

I know for fact Bluffton is trying to get out of the Ben Logan situation. It's easy to say get out of the situation, but at the same time teams available are"nt necessarily going to be any better, and even if there is a good team available they've got to want to play you. Just in case you didn't know Bluffton has been scrimmaging Marion Local for a little while now and if that doesn't tell you where you are physically, I don't know what will.

You played Cory Rawson long after they were competitive. Leipsic, Elida and Indian Valley all need week one. I guarantee you could open with Marion Local instead of patting yourself on the back for a scrimmage. You better keep the cupcake games in two years you will be back to being a doormat in the nwc.

If your talking to me, I'm not a you.

Conf vs other conf
Spencerville knocked off NWCC runner-up
Grove and Bluffton knocked off BVC runner-up
LCC knocked off N10 co runner-up
Grove knocked off BVC champ
Grove knocked off NWOAL runner-up

Playoffs
Grove North Baltimore why?, be a lot of JV reps

Bluffton wins by 28 and reminds Paulding why they left the NWC

LCC by 24 over Pandora, sucks they are in the same half as Grove

Fort Loramie vs Ridgemont, see Spencerville from earlier in season, Fort by 35

Spencerville vs Huron, only interesting game, not believing that will be a blowout like Pasture says, I am calling the Spencerville upset and NWC sweep in week one

2 thoughts on Pandora/LCC

1) I think Pandora is much better than when they played Grove and Bluffton in weeks 1 and 2, they were extremely young those games and now that’s basically an entire season ago.

2) completely depends what version of LCC shows up. If the version that showed up to Grove week 9 comes, LCC wins big. If the version that played Bluffton shows up, could be interesting or even an upset

Either way sucks that these teams are playing each other week 11, and regardless have a rematch against Grove in week 12. I think they’re both top 4 teams in R26

I think this game will be a tall task for Spencerville. Looking at Huron's schedule and the competition they played is pretty stiff. The last 3 games they didn't really get blown out of the water by some traditionally very physical teams. Edison and Clyde are very good programs and are well coached.

Grove with a running clock

Bluffton if they show up and think they can win just mentally weak but it is Paulding

LCC in the closest game

Ft Loramie in a blowout

Sorry Spencerville Huron by at least 3 scores

We deserve 0 credit after Fridays game. Credit to Grove. There needs to be a school meeting to fix our athletic programs. We are great at beating bad teams, but when have we beat a good team?

You guys are ridiculous. 9-1 (which many, many teams would take across the state) and you call for some arbitrary school meeting in your opinion that needs to happen? That’s funny.

I have to say, the meltdown coming out of Bluffton is much more serious than I anticipated. I mean, I expected some bitching and moaning, but this has been interesting. I mean, I get it. This was the team that was supposed to beat Grove, but I stated before that I think last year's Bluffton team was better. Looks like I was right. Bad news for Bluffton fans though. Next year Bluffton takes another step down the ladder. Yikes!

I don't know about a meltdown but do I think we are 42 points worse than Grove. No but we clearly were not well prepared and our defensive plan made no sense, we just kept letting them run the same play and it took us 21 points to start adjusting to the shift. Grove blocked it to perfection but once they got past the front five there was no one there and how is a DB supposed to tackle Barazza in the open field one on one. And on offense I know they have 11 plugging up the middle and Mays but my God we weren't gonna just throw it and run outside on them. Worcester didn't have a carry in the first quarter. I owe 67 an apology kid is good, after one play we should have scrapped trying to run outside on him, he was taking our blockers and literally throwing them at Stack., not to mention we tried rolling out to his side,😳, in case you can't tell I'm frustrated but not calling for meetings, we can still take this region....there I'm done talking about that game.

Oh 100%. I'm actually referring to people I know from Bluffton who don't post on here. It's fascinating. And a little worrying. I mean, it's HS football. Not real life.
The panic is because that game with the expectations, coverage, crowd and what happened is the type that can set your program back,. It was an embarrassment. That said seniors need to focus on playoffs and young guys need to actually hit the weight room HARD this off-season we need to lift like Grove or do whatever they are doing plain and simple.

I couldn't agree with you more. On the basis of talent, Grove is not 42 points better than Bluffton. Bluffton has some really nice athletes that any team in the conference would take in a heartbeat. It was honestly just a combination of factors. Bluffton was seriously out coached. And Grove exploited Bluffton's biggest weakness, which is their offensive and defensive lines. Add to that all the hype leading up to the game and the fact that these are kids, and it was a recipe for disaster. I think both Grove and Bluffton will have a tougher trek to get out of their respective regions than people realize. Bluffton will have to get through the Patrick Henry and Hopewell Loudon winner, while Grove will have to get through LCC, who gave them their toughest test by far this season. Any team that forces Richards to make adjustments can beat Bluffton. He and Billings from Allen East might be long lost brothers.

Spencerville is in trouble.

This is a joke Bluffton only got one first team offense player.
LCC and Fort Loramie had more than Bluffton, did everyone.forget about the previous nine weeks.
Grove definitely got the love,
