Well, newly-minted indoor 800m record-holder, Celia Schulte (Hilliard Davidson, Jr.) just lowered her outdoor PB from 2:08.79 down to 2:05.50 in placing 2nd at the Carolina Distance Carnival in Mattews, NC. Holy Speedometer, Batman! That moves Ms. Schulte to #3 all-time, trailing only the 56-year old record of 2:04.5 MT by North Canton Hoover's Nancy Shafer (29 Aug 1969) and the 2:05.20 by Mount Gilead's Allison Johnson (2 July 2021)!
