Seeing some nice performances out of New Balance Nationals @ Philly.

Ohio outdoor record-holder, Garrett Guinther (Sidney), set a new meet and Ohio record with his 17' 4 1/2" win on Saturday! Sam Paeth (Fremont St. Joseph CC) also placed 4th in the same comp.

Annie McCracken (Granville) place 3rd in the girls' pole comp with her 13' 1 1/2" clearance.

Cincinnati-area frosh Ian Shinkle (Batavia) & Samantha Clyde (Sycamore) both won their freshman national pole vault comps. Oakwood's frosh Mila Gelbart was also 2nd in the girls' frosh comp.

In the 2k steeplechases, Sam Darmanie (Springboro) & Brooke Chapman both moved to #2 all-time in Ohio behind legendary record-holders Nathaniel Mountain (St. Xavier) & Taylor Ewert (Beavercreek).

WOW...didn't see this one coming but, Lexington's state champ, Latrell Hughes, ROCKETS to #2 Ohio all-time with his 1:48.46 in placing 5th overall in the boys' 800m!!!!
 
With Jordan Gross on anchor, Vandalia Butler runs 3:10.96 for 3rd place today! #2 Ohio all-time, only 0.3 behind the Glenville team at the 2003 Adidas Outdoor Nationals! 3rd leg on that Glenville team was all-time great, Ted Ginn Jr. in his junior year.
