What’s the general makeup of Girard’s roster age wise? Are they pretty evenly distributed or maybe a young or more upperclassmen constructed team?
 
Shout out to struthers, great game. The defense was solid forsure. Definitely didn't think it was gonna be that close, or that low scoring of a game. Didn't love our play calling on offense tonight, running a few of the same plays over and over when they just weren't working. Those 2 fumbles near the end zone almost killed us. Struthers played good physical football forsure. Hope all the kids that went down with injuries are okay and nothing serious.
 
Congrats to Perry on the win, made just enough plays. Good season for the wildcats the kids left it all on the field and they have nothing to be ashamed about.


The offensive coaching staff needs to never return ever again that was the most lousy play calling I’ve seen in 20 years
 
After seeing West Branch shut down the Glenville offense and seeing Perry lockdown Struthers’ run game, Perry vs Glenville could be fun. It could be another one of these low scoring games but Glenville is likely the one that finds the needed points. I will say though, those field conditions at West Branch looked less than ideal. It seemed no players could effectively make cuts without losing their footing.

Referees tonight seemed incapable of making any penalty call without a full crew discussion often lasting minutes, at the conclusion of which the situation was no clearer than when it began. It hurt both teams.

Little tidbit for everyone to dwell on. I was at the Girard game lastnight with two friends and spoke with two different parents who's sons play for Girard. They were telling me that the coach's held a practice at Girard stadium on this past Thursday in the morning and there was a scuffle between Cochran and another coach and one of the other coaches tried to break it up and Cochran punched him in the face. What a beautiful thing for these young kids for Girard to see. What a great example this coaching staff reflects on to these kids. The administration should fire all involved. I'm sure that there won't be anything done about it cause said coach has a lot of control in this town and that's so very sad.
