My Super Bowl wagers

I'm going to have about 50-100 more wagers. This is just a start. These are my main wagers, and wagers that have nothing at all to do with the game. I'll post the rest tomorrow, and trust me, it gets crazy.

Main bets that normal people make:

- Giants +3 $1,650 to win $1,500
- Under 55 1/2 $55 to win $50

Coin toss:

- Result will be tails $6 to win $5
- Giants will call tails $6 to win $5
- Giants will win the toss $6 to win $5

The following wagers are in regards to the game from kickoff to the final whistle, with the time between the final whistle of the first half and kickoff of the 2nd half NOT included:

- There will be over 3.5 live shots of Peyton Manning during the game $13 to win $10
- Giselle Bundchen will be shown under .5 times during the game $6 to win $5
- Jim Irsay's name will be mentioned over 1 time during the game $5 to win $5
- David Tyree's 2008 Super Bowl catch will be shown under 1 time $5 to win $5.50
- Andrew Luck will be mentioned over 1 time during the game $5.5 to win $5
- There will be over 3 1/2 live shots of Robert Kraft during the game $7 to win $5
- If Tom Brady's son is shown on TV during the game he will not be wearing a Tom Brady jersey $5 to win $7.50

The following wagers are just absurd:

- Barack Obama will pick the Patriots to win the Superbowl $6 to win $5
- Kelly Clarkson singing the National Anthem in over 1 minute 34 seconds $6 to win $5
- Kelly Clarkson will not be wearing an official NFL shirt or jersey while singing the National Anthem $6 to win $2
- Kelly Clarkson's bare belly will not be showing during the National Anthem $16 to win $2
- Kelly Clarkson will not omit at least 1 word of the official US National Anthem $8 to win $2
- Madonna's hair will be blonde during the halftime show $8 to win $2
- Madonna will not be wearing fishnet stockings at any point during the halftime show $6 to win $5
- Madonna will not wear an official NFL shirt or jersey during any point of the halftime show $8 to win $2
- Madonna will wear a hat at some point during the halftime show $5 to win $5
- Madonna will start the halftime show using a microphone and not a headset $5 to win $10
- The liquid to be dumped on the head coach of the winning team will be clear in color $10 to win $20
- In the post game interview, the Superbowl MVP will thank his teammates before anyone else gets thanked (coach, owner, God, family, etc.) $5 to win $8
- The game will have over 117 million average viewers $7 to win $5
- The Nielsen rating will be over 47.5 $6 to win $5
- Over 1.5 million viewers will stream the game online $6 to win $5
- The Dow Jones will go down the day after the Super Bowl $5 to win $5

Like I said, there will be many, many more. One that caught my eye earlier was "What will there be more of on Sunday: Tom Brady TD passes or Ray Allen 3 pointers made?" There's like 25-30 lines that are just like that one out there.
 
 
I'm up $3,000 for the playoffs and I plan on betting about $2,500 of that on this game. Right now I have $1,882.50 in play which leaves me another $617.50 left to blow on more stupid wagers. I'll post the rest tonight if I remember.

So what is the total that you stand to win with $3000 at risk?
 
recently will get rly rly angry if he has to watch the younger brother of Fat Forehead win another Super Bowl over Tom Brady $8 to win $5.

I'm not sure I understand your question. I'm not going to have $3,000 at risk. The most I will risk on the Super Bowl will be $2,500 total. Right now I have $1,882.50 at risk with a chance to win up to $1,696.

I'm definitely starting to get nervous about it. I'm hearing too much "Eli might be as good or better than Brady"-type talk for comfort. Ultimately though I think the 2 teams are pretty dead even, so I'm going with the team that's getting 3 points.

But you thinking it's horrible gives me a little more confidence.
 
I wanted to do a lot more wagers but out of sheer laziness I'm just going to stick with what I have. Probably smart since Super Bowl prop bets are your token sucker bets.

If it were me, I would have avoided the the stupid SB bets all together, and go to Mountaineer, or Wheeling, and play Blackjack and slots. Good Luck though.

When a guy who says "Vick = instant championship" disagrees with your picks, it tends to work out pretty well for you :thumb:

- The liquid to be dumped on the head coach of the winning team will be clear in color $10 to win $20 I didn't see any Gatorade dump so this will be either a push or a loss depending on whether or not "no Gatorade dump" was an option
- In the post game interview, the Superbowl MVP will thank his teammates before anyone else gets thanked (coach, owner, God, family, etc.) $5 to win $8 I don't know if he officially "thanked" his teammates but that's all he talked about, so I think this will be a win
- The game will have over 117 million average viewers $7 to win $5 TBD
- The Nielsen rating will be over 47.5 $6 to win $5TBD
- Over 1.5 million viewers will stream the game online $6 to win $5 TBD

So it looks like right now I wagered $1,882.50 and have gotten $3,378 back for a profit of $1,495.50 with the possibility of getting another $108 depending on what the rulings are on some wagers and what happens with the ratings and the Dow Jones today. So I'm basically up $4,500 for the playoffs. Not bad for a 5 week stretch :thumb: I went 9-2 ATS for the playoffs with both losses coming in the 2 Denver games. Makes up for a sub-par regular season.
