Congrats to MLB for screwing up something that could be an important part of the country's economic and psychological recovery.

At the end of the day, I find both sides despicable. That being said, the owners made a deal and they should have to stick with it.

Right on point as usual. Every other league is going to make it work, but the MLB owners and players are too stubborn/thick-headed to work out a compromise. And the owners have the most fault this time for reneging on a deal.

I haven't paid much attention to other leagues but I thought baseball was the only one asking salaries to be based on revenue or the amount you're paid. They've all been some type of prorated pay per games played. And that's what the MLBPA wants.

Today's proposal is for 76 games, playoffs done by the end of October.

Still comes down to money. Until they can get close with that the amount of games doesn't really matter.
