So not one poster can cry I will put all of the minor league games in here.

Columbus Clippers @ Louisville Bats (Reds)
Clippers start out the season as well as they could have ever dreamed by putting up five runs in the top of the first.
Oscar Mercado Bobby Bradley and Owen Miller each drive in a run. Gabriel Arias goes yard (1) and drives in 2.

Louisville responds with a homer from Scott Heineman, a solo shot that cuts this to a 5-1 game.

Bottom of the third Mark Payton triples to drive in a run to make this a 5-2 game.

Top of the fourth catcher Ryan Lavarnway (1) goes yard making this a 6-2 game.

Bottom of the sixth with the base loaded Chester Cuthbert grounds into a double play with a run scoring to make this a 6-3 game.

Clippers win 6-3

In the bottom of the first, a sac fly from Thomas Dillard makes this a 1-0 game.

In the bottom of the 2nd Chad McClanahan singles to make this a 2-0 game. Then Hayden Cantrelle singles to drive it two making this 4-0 game. David Hamilton makes it 5-0 with a double.

Top of three and we now have a 5-1 game thanks to a bases-loaded walk to Parker Meadows.
A two-run single off of the bat of Spencer Torkelson makes this a 5-3 game.

Jesus Lujano (3) blasts a two-run bomb making this a 7-3 game on the bottom of the third.

Top of the fourth and we have another dinger, this one a solo shot from Reynaldo Rivera (3) to give us the score of 7-4.

Yariel Gonzalez (4) cuts the lead to 2-1 with his own big blast in the bottom of the 2nd.

Daniel Johnson goes yar to make this a 3-1 game in the top of the seventh.

Bottom of the seventh and this is a 3-2 game thanks to an RBI sac fly from Daniel Pinero we have a 3-2 score.

Top of the eighth and Bobby Bradley is waking up as he blasts another bomb (6) in this one to put the Clippers up 4-2.
Oscar Mercado gets another RBI to make this a 5-2 game with a single.

Blake Parker throws a wild pitch to allow Toledo to make this a 5-3 game In the bottom of the eighth.

Top of the sixth and a bases-loaded triple by Brantley Bell makes this a 7-1 game.

This one was ugly for Columbus

Dustin Peterson led the winners with 3 RBI.
Zach Green (5), Hernán Pérez (3) and Pablo Reyes (1) All went deep for the winners
Reys and Green each totaled 2 RBI.
Perez had 1 RBI.

For Columbus
Andrés Giménez and Gavin Collins each had a RBI.
Each of them had 2 hits each, which was all of the hits the light-hitting Clippers had.

This one ended on a balk that scored the only run of the game.
West Michigan's Reynaldo Rivera scored on the balk.

Lake County batters struck out twelve times.
West Michigan batter forced six bases on balls.

Sounds pulverize the Clippers 11-0.
Tim Lopes, Jack Hager, and Dustin Peterson each total 2 RBI
Tyrone Taylor, Corey Ray, and Christian Kelly each had 1 RBI.
Taylor (1), Peterson, (2), and (Ray (3) all went yard.

Ernie Clement (.387) led what Columbus offense there was with two hits.

Throwback day so Down Town East was called the Kinston Indians tonight and like the old K-Tribe, the Wood Ducks posted the win. 6-2.

Cristian Inoa had his first bomb to go with 3RBI. He had two hits on the night.​

Dustin Harris and Randy Florentino each had 1 RBI.​

For the Nationals, Kevin Strohschein and Jeremy Ydens each drove in a run.

Clippers drop their eighth straight game. A couple of questionable calls by the home plate umpire killed Columbus in this one.

For the Indians Christian Bethancourt, Bligh Madris, Anthony Alford, and T.J.Rivera each drove in a run.
For Columbus, three solo homers accounted for all of their runs. Bobby Bradley (8), Ryan Lavarnway (7), and Oscar Mercado (1).

Top of seven and Toledo makes in 3-0 with a solo bang by Anderlin Rodriguez (3).


Toledo adds four in the eighth to lead and win by the score of 7-0.
All four runs comes on a grand slam off of the bat of Anderlin Rodriguez (4).

Ryan Lavarnway singled to drive in the first run of the game (Clippers 1-0 top of third).

Top of four and Nolan Jones makes this a 2-0 game, with his sac fly.

Colin Moran (1) on a rehab assignment from the Pirates goes yard to lock this one up at two in the bottom of the fourth.

Andres Gimenez (1) with a solo blast in the fifth to put the Clippers back up 3-2.


Clippers end the eight-game losing streak with a 3-2 win.

Connor Marabell makes this a 1-0 game when he singles to drive on a run, in the top of the 2nd.

Bottom of three and thanks to an Andrew Romine sac bunt we are locked up at one.
Trace Thompson (4) with a two-run bomb and it is 3-1 after three.

An error by the Clippers shortstop on a routine grounder allows another Cubs run to score making this a 4-1 game in the bottom of the fourth.

Top of five and we have a 4-3 game after back-to-back doubles by Daniel Johnson and Nolan Jones.

Top of six and we have a 5-4 Clippers lead after Oscar Mercado plates two with a double.
6-4 after Ernie Clement drives in another Columbus run on a sac fly.

Top of seven and Connor Marabell knocks in two with an infield single making this an 8-4 Columbus lead.

Bottom of seven and Trace Thompson makes the score 8-5 on his fielders choice that drives in another Iowa run.

Bottom of the 1st and here come the Curve.
Rodolfo Castro makes this a 2-1 game with a single.
Mason Martin Triples (2) scoring to making this a 3-2 game.
Brendt Citta doubles (5) making this a 4-2 game.
Jonah Davis gets an RBI on a ground out to give us our 5-2 score.

Top of two
Richard Palacios doubles (9) to drive in a run making this a 5-3 game.
A throwing error on Curve catcher Arden Pabst makes this a 5-4 game. The error came on a double steal.
Chris Roller doubles (20 knocking in two making this a 6-5 game.

Bottom of the third and we are locked up at six after a Cal Mitchel RBI single.

The bottom of the fourth and the Curve take the lead 7-6 on a solo blast by Onell Cruz (6).

Top of the sixth and we have a 7-7 game after Alex Call (9) doubles.
Will Benson drives in two with a single putting the Ducks up 9-7.
Jonathan Engleman with his first double-A hit that drives in a run to put the Ducks up 10-7.
Andruw Monasterio makes it 11-7 with a sac fly.

In the bottom of the sixth Onell Cruz, with his 2nd hit of the night, a single makes this an 11-8 game.
Rodolfo Castro with a single drives in two and we have an 11-10 game.
Cal Mitchel with a three-run triple makes the score 13-11 Curve. Still nobody out.

The scoring continued in the seventh.
For Akron, Oscar Gonzalez doubled in a run, then Chris Roller ties it up at 13 with a single.


In the bottom of the eighth the last run of the game came on a bomb off of the bat of Rodolfo Castro ((6) to give the Curve the 14-13 win.

Top of the third and Alex Call (4) gives the Ducks a 4-2 lead, with his fourth bomb of the season.

In the bottom of the fifth Arden Pabst makes this a 4-3 game with his single to Center Field.

Went to see the Lexington Legends Tonite. Atlantic league with the experimental rules. Bunch of has beens and some never will be s. Brandon Phillips is part owner and player. He and Cingrani were only two I remember. BP uses it as his playground. Some of the guys can still rake.

Electronic zone....eh. didn't like the slight delay with the unp.. it was a DH and the second guy half assed it. Also was the further mound. Think I noticed it a little further

Cubs strike first in the bottom of the first when Taylor Gushue singles in a run.

Top of the 2nd and the Clippers come roaring back.
Trenton Brooks singles a run in that was followed by a 3-run bomb by one of my favorite players Connor Marabell (2) to make it 4-1. Ernie Clement doubles (9) to make this a 5-1 Columbus lead.

Top of the third and Columbus is at it again. Gabriel Arias (4) makes it 6-1 with a solo dinger.

Top of the eighth and Trenton Brooks makes this a 7-1 game with a sac fly.
