Huge difference. They're D1 and want to act like they're one of the best athletic programs in the NW part of the state. Losing to a D7, even if it is Marion Local, would be vastly different than an average D3 or D4 losing to a good D5 team.
I agree. It would be nice match-up to see but Findlay which likely would get beat will not let that happen. But not a lot of options for Findlay from that list.

Unrelated I don't know why Toledo Christian and Vanlue haven't already been booked. I guess TC could be worried that this will be the year Vanlue can't guilt 11 kids into playing.

Haven't seen the schedules, but would not be surprised if Toledo Christian and Vanlue weren't already scheduled during another week.

Any word of who will be HC on the gridiron next year at Fort? were the 2 names listed earlier in the thread (circle and sudhoff) still legit or can they be discarded

I wonder if Marion Local will have to look west again into Indiana to find a week 1 because none of those listed look to be viable options for them either because of travel (I know they traveled far last year, do they want to do it again) or size. Is Findlay vs. Marion Local remotely possible?
Maybe Linton will want revenge after making it to the state finals and book a return trip.

There was a fake X account acting like ML football, and they were trying to set up ML and Ironton. Any chance that game has any merit?

Would it be possible for Marion to play an official game on the Fri or Sat before week 1?

For instance, if a school has a week 3 opening, and Marion has a week 1 opening, they cannot play each other during the 10-game regular season.

But what about a game in "week 0"? Both teams would still play only 10 regular season games.

I realize this is probably not allowed by OHSAA, but just wondering.

Wouldn't be allowed by the OHSAA - the first day that you can have a game is the Thursday of "Week 1"

misconception. you're actually allowed to begin play on the monday of week 1. doesn't have to be on Thursday. nobody will ever do it, but you can play on monday night at 5 if you want

Rumor around town is that Zack Sudhoff, Jake Circle, and Toby Metzger have all received second interviews. As for anyone else I’m not sure.
