St. Henry started the program in 1972.
Coldwater 1936
Marion Local 1956 though Maria Stein St. John was playing before that
Fort Recovery 1991
New Bremen 1972
Delphos St. John 1955
Anna 2000
Parkway 1961

Kind of hard to find this info. Cannot find definitive info on Minster or Versailles.
New Knoxville 1939 - still undefeated according to the t-shirts

Even after moving into the new high school in 1958 (which is still the current hs), Marion played their football games at the field across from the church through the 1964 season I believe.

I think it was 1965 when Booster Field was first used. I attended my first hs football game there in '72 or '73.

I can remember attending a game at Minster's old stadium - and at SH's original stadium (though I don't know where the old SH stadium was).
I think St. Hank old stadium was where the community center is now....

I've mentioned this before.
The percent of "competitive winner mentality" wired people in FR isn't as prevalent compared to the other MAC communities (being one of them, it bothers the Hell out of me).
After decades of playing little brother and going into most conference games in a majority of our sports with a perpetual underdog mentality, it gets instilled within the community and expectations are lowered further than our MAC neighbors. If we win it's a "nice surprise" and if it's a streak it's a "feel good story," instead of solidifying that as "the standard."
It's got to be a culture change not only from the kids, but from the parents as well.

Fort kids would quit because it is too tough?
Knew two families at his most recent job in Dublin.....and they complained that he was 'too tough' on the kids and that asst coaches didnt like him because he wanted things done a certain way...

Personally I just laughed inside as it sounded like a bunch of primadonn's (for for the old school jjpuddle days....pre madonna...)

When Stokes went to Dublin, a family member of mine told me he was going to have a lot of trouble with the privileged Dublin mothers.
and it was one of those said mom's who said the assistants hating him becuase they always did things one way and he changed things....

i just had to laugh...

Last year I was following Coffman pretty closely after figuring we were going to in need of a new coach for this year. All the chatter was around this. Parents complaining about things being different, too tough on their sons, etc... Made me want Stokes even more.

Stokes i feel would've done well at St Henry

I’m glad to see all the support here for tough coaching. I’ve been hearing a ton of negative comments about coaches lately, at all levels. I’d guess 98% of the people I hear complaining about coaches don’t even know enough to have a qualified opinion - and I’m one of that 98%!

..spectrum looks to be replaying the game at 1pm on Sunday.

Looking forward to seeing how it looked on the boobtube.

No word if it will be included in the RedZone coverage on espn redzone.

St15ners don't want any part of ironton. It's one thing to beat up on Lil Ole CW and a wapak team who can't get the job done.
lol. Ironton fan here. They replace a lot as well. Could be a little ugly early in the year. Not sure they could hang with the level of execution standard with any ML team but would be a good measuring stick and provide a lot of input for ongoing development. Would be fun to watch. Ironton has actually been sending their JV to Massillon a couple of times recently just to get a game and some rough seasoning for the youngsters so I know they would consider making the trip. Would be nice to see ML in the tank as well.
