Minster Girls win the State Cross Country title today....... so who has the biggest dynasty..ML football or Minster Girls cross country?

Mister girls currently have a streak of 24 straight years finishing in the top 10 at the state meet. Obviously, many of those times won the meet. Amazing to never have a down year.

When I was a little kid was fascinated to listen to my grandparents and their friends work through bloodlines in Mercer County. So and so family was smart, so and so lazy, so and so good looking, so and so drinkers. They could literally walk it back to Deutschland and when they bought sections. Breeders to the core. Got an 1888 Marion Twnship map w names on holdings in cursive written Dutch style. Unique culture.

Nein. But no need bc if you google up 1888 marion township, mercer county ohio map they're both viewable and for sale. Fwiw family names are pretty constant as are church, convent, seminary locations. All and all pretty easy to literally walk back 2 centuries of families looking at head stones at St Johns. Which came out of the area original, ST Augustine. Germans love rules and records on either side of the Pond

I’m not sure how much Shawnee seats, but my feeling is that ML/Minster will bring more fans than Anna/TV. Would a swap have made more sense? Or maybe Shawnee has plenty of room?

both are more than big enough, i think. you could argue that anna and tri-village is farther south, so they should get shawnee since its farther south, but its splitting hairs.

I repeat this every year when people complain about locations. NOT ALL LOCATIONS ARE WILLING TO HOST THAT MIGHT MAKE MORW SENSE. There is not much incentive in hosting anymore for schools.

Agree however just makes common sense to put SH vs Ansonia at Greenville.

This game will not sell 3 k tix. be lucky to sell 2 k. Not even sure Marion Local vs Minster will sell 2k tix.

Im smart enough to know that a game can only be played at location that is willing to host. You must not be smart enough to throughly read a post. Lol

Didn't at one time you 'wssentually assumed' the higher seed if you had beaten them? I swore that was the case at some time.
