Michigan 2025

Says the Buckeye fan on a Michigan thread started by another Buckeye fan. Ironic. You and bob are obsessed with Michigan.
I know you aren’t the sharpest tool in the shed, but there’s a vast difference in having an actual discussion about the Michigan football team, what I have done in this thread, and having a 3 month meltdown about Ohio State football, what @bkmk1 has done.

I mean even a blind mouse could see that, not sure how you missed it.

Look at how broken this guy is:

Michigan is stalling on the investigation by the NCAA. I would think ending the investigation would be the best thing for all involved. If Michigan is found guilty they will need time to face the backlash. Will their players and recruits be given the opportunity to transfer? Will there be a need to have a coaching change? If the sanctions be stiff enough that Michigan may have a hard time fielding a team. If Michigan wins the case, it could help Michigan recruiting and make them a more viable destination for transfer. Michigan went 8-5 the 2024 season. The way things stand right now, that maybe Michigan's normal once again.

Which team beat the National Champions?
And??? Oh that's right: "THE" Michigan Wolverines. Michigan will be making it 5 in a row and qualify for the playoffs. "Hail to the Victors"!
And The Ohio State thanks you. It was the wakeup call OSU needed. Michigan woke up the sleeping giant and OSU made a historic run to win the National Championship. The first time in the history of the NCAA a team unquestioningly won the title on the field. No one with a legitimate chance to win the title was left out. Ohio State won it and there is no asterisk associated with their title. Life is good.

Harbaugh and Scallions are gone as is Minter. 4 - 5 losses will be the norm for SCUM as it was before 2021 when the cheating started. From 2000 - 2020 SCUM lost 91 games. Average of a little over 4 losses per season, last year 5 losses back to reality for TTUN.

My thoughts on that: 😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴😴. The 2 key issues for me: 1. Was 12 too many teams. And my answer is a SOLID yes. And it played out with many blowouts and teams that did not deserve or earn a spot. So 4 teams is perfect. 2. Did osu earn a spot in a 4 team playoff. That is a SOLID - NO. (2 losses. A loss AT HOME as a 20+ point favorite. Wasn't good enough to even play for their own conference championship. So they did NOTHING to earn a spot in what should only be 4 teams max. Without expansion, which was simply about greed, they are out. Maybe soon they can do a 32 team double elimination tournament. 12 teams is and was a farce. So their is my sticking point. They won it, but ONLY because they went from 4 to 12, not because of their body of work. But I guess a Natty is a Natty. But IMHO- 12 teams sucks and the seedings were also pathetic. A VERY flawed system. (and remember, this is just an opinion).

Don't bet your house, you won't have a place to sleep.

Wow. Can you imagine OSU averaging 4 losses per season for two decades? Not in my lifetime.

And yet some big blue guys act like they have a real program...

Come up with a new take.
Also, Michigan couldn’t even get in a 12 team field

I have to disagree. 8 is the perfect number. Have the highest ranked teams play regardless of conference affiliation.
This year was the perfect barometer to prove the legitmacy of 8 teams vs. 4 teams. Number 7 Notre Dame and number 8 Ohio State were the two teams in the finals. There is your body of work. The two best teams played for the title. No question about it. 2023 the final 8 teams were:

FinalMichigan (13-0)Big Ten (East)
FinalWashington (13-0)Pac-12
FinalTexas (12-1)Big 12
FinalAlabama (12-1)SEC (West)
FinalFlorida State (13-0)ACC
FinalGeorgia (12-1)SEC (East)
FinalOhio State (11-1)Big Ten (East)
FinalOregon (11-2)Pac-12
8 teams that could have played for the Natty. That would have been a real playoff.

I love the cute little abbreviations buckeye fan uses because they refuse to say Michigan 😂. You act like it bothers Michigan fans, when its actually the ultimate sign of respect. I don't see you making up nicknames or threads for Iowa or Penn State or Wisconsin because they aren't a threat to your dominance like Michigan. Keep it up fellas!

Honestly, I could go along with 8. And they must seed 1-8. And no automatic conference champions bids.
