Just out of curiousity . . .

These are the other two that I post on. This one is actually a little boring right now. I come here to talk trash with those not fortunate enough to be in Texas.

they are all good. I get on here to talk smack with texas people. who think they rule high school football. Boy are they going to get a wake up call next year.

what are the webboards like in other states? Yappi must be good if you all are on board:thumb:
I can only speak for myself BUT. The reason why I'm here is to disseminate a lil 411 about Valdosta, regarding their upcoming date with Massillon in August. And attempt a lil give and take regarding Massillon and OSU! THAT, and the hard cold FACTS that most message boards don't want to hear the TRUTH. As that great Amuuurican, Jackie Nicklebocker said in 'A Few Good Men'! "The TRUTH, you can't HANDLE the TRUTH!"

I MUST be slipping in my elder years. How is it, that I've only been banned from TWO of the FLAAAAWDA sites? And I'd never HEARD of one of THOSE?

I post on an http://www.texashsfootball.com which has a national and Texas board.

Also post on http://www.smoaky.com which is an East Texas board. Good place to get into on the top East Texas Teams - Lufkin, Longview, Tyler Lee, Tyler John Tyler, Marshall, Kilgore, Texas High and Gilmer.
TWO questions regarding Texas high school football?

WHY do you think that they rarely if EVER, play outside of their home state?

And when's the last time all those Texas studs played for a national college power? And Okiehomer is a legend in their own mind.

They don’t have to travel a thousand miles when there’s plenty of competition closer. For the school I follow specifically, it’s about ensuring the families always have the chance to go to the games.

As for Texas kids playing for a “national power”, it’s hard for every Texas kid to sign with Kirby when there are so many studs in his backyard. He only gets 85 scholarships. Everyone else is a chump.
