Butler sans Gross runs 3:13.72 for the win! That takes down the 45-yr old Region 4 record, which has ALWAYS been MISLABELED as 3:14.8. That race in 1980 at Welcome Stadium was set over the MILE RELAY, NOT the 4x400m. Welcome didn't convert to a 400m track until the 1982 season. Anyway, that 3:14.8 MT converted to a 3:13.7 MT over 4x400m. However, this issue is now MOOT as the 3:13.72 FAT supercedes the 3:13.7+ MT by Dayton Roth.

Laron Brown, Anthony Saine, William Lauderdale, Bennie Hollis. Yes, Anthony Saine was the father of Brandon Saine!
