Interesting situation at Grove City High School. There is some talent there. A few real good players in the junior class. Sophomore class was undefeated in their freshman year. This season the freshman class was 9-1 with the only loss to a combined squad (freshmen/jv players) from Westerville Central. Could be a good opportunity for the right coach to turn a program around immediately.

The district administration isn't conducive toward what it takes for a coach to come in and make a winner (as in, making Grove City a competent program toward the top half of Region 3) on Hoover Rd. It takes a lot of manpower, primarily through a well-built coaching staff that is in the building, to get GC on the right track.

definitely agree, the pay structure for coaches in that district is really weird

lots more posted on OHSAA today, crooksville being one. I have a feeling we will have more openings this year than usual. I could be wrong, but I just feel like this year might be crazy

Hopefully you will be wrong on your assessment. Two new board members could make a difference. The people in place are aware of the successes of the program 20 years ago. $1M in 2021 stadium improvements shows the community is still behind the program. Given the young talent it is an attractive job.
