Wyoming has won 13 consecutive CHL league titles.

Their CHL record since 2010 is 186-2

The only 2 League losses coming from the Jackets (2020 and 2023)

Current League standings

Taylor 7-0
Wyoming 5-1
Indian Hill 5-2
Deer park 3-3
Madeira 2-4
mariemont 2-4
Reading 1-5
Finneytown 1-5

Taylor last won a CHL championship in 2009 (splitting with Madeira)

The Junior Class for Taylor is VERY Solid and Key addition of Freshmen Kylie Stutzman has helped with this push!

Junior Ava Lanham leads the league in Kills w/ 128 (also 3rd in digs w/ 107)
Junior Lauren Bolden leads in Blocks w/ 36
Junior Mia Kantz is 2nd in digs w/118 (also 4th in pass points w/ 197)
Freshmen Kylie Stutzman is 2nd in asst w/ 255

Taylor has defeated all 7 league opponent's already this year. Wyoming and Taylor will face off again @ Wyoming next tuesday the 26th!

How is your non-league schedule? Have you had the opportunity to play any of the parochial schools?

Non League is pretty decent.

Ross
Western Brown
Colerain
Talawanda
New Richmond (who are LOADED prolly the best team we have faced all season IMO)
Blanchester
Oak Hills
Harrison

last year they lost to WB and Colerain in straight sets. This year the Jackets beat them both in straight sets.

Taylor historically doesnt schedule too many private (has scheduled summit a few times over the past few years)
Soccer and softball typically do , but not VB from my recent knowledge

Taylor beats MM

Taylor 10-0
IH and Wyoming 7-3

1 more League W for the jackets and that would all but end the 13 year run for Wyoming!
 
With last nights W. Taylor claims at least a tie of the CHL championship!

Will be the 1st time since 2010 a name other than Wyoming has won the title!

Wyoming and IH face off Oct 10.
Taylor and IH face off Oct 12.

NR is GOOD! games were tight when we played them and Taylor actually won the 1st set. but then lost the next 3

Promising for the Jackets b/c they are young. NR has 8 seniors , Taylor only 4 (2 start) and Taylor starts a Freshmen as well. The next 2-3 years for Taylor VB is very bright!

Great for you guys! Do any of your younger players play at club? How is the 8th grade team doing?

Any other teams in the league going to be a threat next year?

I know quite a few of the Junior class girls do play club.

And one of the freshmen girls do!

Middle school is not bad (i dont keep direct tabs on them but I know they are above .500 from the posts the AD makes on twitter)

We have a pretty solid Youth organization, We have 2 teams "upper" and "lower" for every grade 2nd - 6th

So the pipeline is full of girls interested for sure!
 
No Surprise. Cleves is getting alot of new residents. Just need to keep them from going to Seton and Elder. Taylor sports are on the rise. Very similar to Harrison.

Cleves is not getting alot of new residents. In fact, most neighborhoods have fewer school aged children now than 10 years ago. Id guess Taylor has around the same or fewer students than 5 years ago.

The kids going to Seton and Elder are currently going to Jude and Visi. Taylor is not losing many 8th graders from their middle school to parochial high schools. In fact, they likely pick up more than they lose each year.
