We've done a pretty good job of stopping a war between the Koreas. We stopped India before.

This one? By not jumping onto India's side. As long as the US, China and Russia stay out of it, the combatants are hopefully at a cold war stalemate. I imagine there's a whole lot of back-door diplomacy trying to convince the countries how this is not in our economic interest, hence it is not in their economic interest. India has such a large internal Muslim population, I don't see how could possibly feel safe starting a full scale war with any of their Muslim neighbors. But leave it where it lays, a very legitimate tit for tat and both governances might be willing to take their losses and try to move on.There's no evidence yet, the central Pakistan government sanctioned or in any way purposely enabled it. India HAD to retaliate but Pakistan is not in that position. Pakistan knows, that terrorist act came from within their borders and hopefully they judge India's response proportional and justified and maybe even rid Pakistan of an internal irritant.

Less than a few dozen killed on each side and two leaders deciding whether that should be turned into tens of thousands or more. If Pakistan's is smarter than his balls, he'll take the shooting down of India's air force as the win, throw a few Ppppppptts, maybe an nyah, nyah or two and call it a day.

China could benefit from a war between Indian and Pakistan. The distraction could allow them to take disputed lands from India. But they had won those lands in a 60s war and basically said, told you so, then retreated back to previous borders under no threat. IDK. China can be hard to figure out. They like to play a dangerous game of tag down in the China Sea, not just with Taiwan, but then have an actual fight with India and give up their gains.

I thought it was obvious in context, but I meant without putting our boots on the ground or getting physically involved.

maybe China was more interested in degrading the Indian military than in being occupiers where they weren’t wanted ? They don’t need another hostile set of Uighurs.

As did I. We've stopped/inhibited wars before without committing our military and I was listing a few I recalled off top of my head. Korea being one of them (not referring to the original civil war but near missis over the years).

I suspect the big powers have stopped more wars than we know whether for humanitarian or economic risk to he powers themselves reasons. Some of these are like having the knucklehead whose only job is to fetch coffee for the big-wig puffing their chest and starting something the big-wig would have to finish. The big-wig has to put a foot on the head and say, get back to getting the coffee.

You azsw1pes supporting Palestine and think we should just sit this one out have no clue on what is really going on. We may have already lost much of Europe to the Islamic beliefs and the US has a big bullseye on its back. The UK is definitely not the country it once was because of the Muslim Migration.

What's your definition of "western civilization" and from where do you get your information on islamic influence within the UK? I think I'd rather read the original source of these ideas of yours. UK at one time said pretty much exactly that about Catholic migration. ;)

I'm not sure if you are conflating islamic state with palestinian state. What would you have us do in palestine if not "sit it out?"

IF "we" have lost much of Europe to Islamic beliefs, why do you feel that occurred? I don't recall any islamic crusade. IF this has occurred, it would appear to have been the free choice of the people that already lived in those countries. Why do you suppose they would have so easily given up their Christian based beliefs for Islamic ones?

They are extremely patient and they are out breeding the natives, eventually they become the majority then they implement their way of life over, based on religion not policy, and the natives are now SOL. We don’t stop it because “it’s racist” even though they will tell you straight up what the end game is. The issue also is the morons supporting them and allowing ease of access to government slots, are also the first ones that’ll be discriminated against once they are the majority.

Doesn’t seem to be a great performance from the Indian military thus far. Pakistan air defense seems to be handling them well.

We did not need to be involved in Gaza any more than we need to be involved in India/Pakistan.

Doesn’t Pakistan purchase most of their militiamen from China? In the past I believe India has purchased military equipment from Russia and recently purchased their newest jets from France.

I believe about a year ago India choose a military equipment agreement with the USA over Russia. Sounds like they may be interested in purchasing some F-35’s in the future.

Let’s just hope Pakistan doesn’t hit any of India’s call centers - what would the US do without Indian telemarketers and help desk?

Hope you as a American citizen never get taken hostage and think you nation would not let you sit and rot till you die. Tell me are there American citizens being held in Gaza. How about India or Pakistan. If you do not see a difference I have no hope for you. In truth I am disappointed in the American response in Gaza.

As American citizens we have no expectation of security abroad. If I want to travel to a place with obvious turmoil that's on me, not the American taxpayers.
