How wars should be fought?



Conflict over resources reinforced by religion fueled by a history of colonialism. Situation normal in Kashmir . The question is who might benefit if India and the Paki's have a go at it? ChIna (Tibet) does border Kashmir .

China had their fling with India, won it, then pulled back to original borders instead of land grabbing.

Most of the unciviliized actions appear to be taking place within India borders, The place is a powderkeg. Packistan's real interest is that not spilling over and avoiding the accusations they are harboring or inciting by not harboring or inciting.

It's that East tail border I don't get. I think it's peaceful. Largely Christian on a border with Islamic Bangledesh, Buddist Burma and sectarian (officially) China.

In the aftermath of WW2, my US Army father was loosely attached to a British Army unit in Kashmir while waiting to point out. His observations were the existence of ancient religious animosities superimposed on each other by colonialism. I guess the surprise is that there has not been more open warfare between the two nations over the last 80 years. Then again both India and Pakistan possess nuclear weapons, so that might serve to keep any hostilities to a limited scope.

Over the years since I work in IT I have frequently worked with people from India. The people of India I have known really have a strong dislike for the people of Pakistan. This has been going on for a long time. I sure hope it doesn't escalate into military action.

If Biden was still in office, India would never have attacked Pakistan.

Indian women are either really hot or not very attractive. There’s pretty much zero middle ground.

A company I worked at years ago had two offices in India. The northern Indian office and southern Indian office did not get along. Not work related. Some ethnic thing

It is my understanding that people from Northern India are more traditional & follow the cast system. Those in the south are more educated and more 21st century.

That's actually a spot on description of the teams I worked with, although they all seemed "21st century" in the technology aspect and loved American culture.

He could have mumbled some incoherent threats at them and then been escorted off stage by Jill as she tells him how good of a job he did reading all the words. No way either country wouldn't have toed the line after that.
