I'll be interested in seeing what happens if/when Hoover moves up to the White Division. Right now they're not really getting challenged in the Blue Division.

Hoover is playing well right now with youth...the team consists of mostly sophmores and freshmen...the future looks bright. who is in the White division? is that Eds, Iggy etc?

White Division

The GCHSHL is really divided into four levels. From bottom to top it is Blue, White, Red East and South, then Red North. The Red North is Eds, US, Shaker, Lake Catholic, Trinity, and Padua. Iggy was in it up to last year but they were booted to the Red East. Hoover plays in Blue, which is the lowest, where most teams with new programs play.

The white is still very competitive. A number of good teams play in the White including Cleveland Hts (up until about 2000 they played in the Red North. I think Lake Catholic replaced them), Kent Roosevelt and Rocky River. They are still a number of levels away from Red North, but they seem to be ready to move on beyond the Blue Division. If you want to look at the GCHSHL set-up, here is the link: http://www.shutout.com/standings.asp
