If I had to come up with just one thing that was the difference maker in this game it was Special Teams. The ELKS dominated. They were able to field the Wayne punts while Wayne would let the ELk punts hit the ground and roll another 15 to 20 yardMukes s. With the ELKS pinned deep into Wayne territory with Wayne having the momentum the Elk punter drilled a 56 yard punt that totally changed field position. Wayne would shank a punt and then late in the game drop the snap fumbling the ball giving the Elks the ball on Wayne's 15 yard line where they would take the lead.

The defenses dominated and no team was going to drive the ball to score. We should of been heading into OT but crap happens sometimes and that is the way it goes. It was just meant to be for the ELKS, I mean that 3rd and long in the 2nd qtr where the pass gets tipped and ends up in the arms of the WR who goes the distance for a TD.....

I really hope that the play caller for Wayne did not call a backwards pass but instead it was just ran wrong as why in the rain with wind would one try such a risky play? 3 turnovers by Wayne, 2 which were unforced was too much for Wayne to over come. Centerville's defense came to play and no doubt the goal was to get to the QB. Oh well, I have taken enough of these adds on here and will be heading out..... I don't post on here too much any more because of these adds that jump around all over the screen.....

Anyhow..... Mukes should be gone and hopefully the new AD can bring someone in who can rebuild this program that has been destroyed over the last 5 years.

I don't think a lot of people really understand how much these kids communicate with each other and the stuff they tell about their programs in these group chats. I have seen some of the messages, pretty eye opening. Eventually, it will be the downfall of some of these coaches. All it takes is one kid with an axe to grind.
 
Who is Centerville going to hire? New AD Brandon Hon has a huge decision to make. Do you promote from within? DC Puckett has been a HC before. Do you go get a big name from outside? Is this a national search or just local?
Locally Meeks at Shawnee put in for this job before, Burgbacher at Tipp would be a good hire

Yea I am curious myself. Puckett seems logical but he didn't do too well his first stint as a HC at Butler. Not sure the AD would want to take that chance with his first hire. Will be interesting

Dave Miller comes back home and lands his dream job. Bringing back the Bob Gregg s mentality he simultaneously sets the program back 10 years and increases ticket sales to the over 60 group.

If that happens, you can pretty much watch all the athletes head for Springfield and Wayne.

Or another coach on the staff... who could use the situation to become the head coach...maybe that could happen. ;)

Boy did Jim Brown ever get F*cked the old Northmont way. That was a good comparison. Will be very interested to see who is hired in Clayton.
