That's right. Green's finally done it. After playing close with the mighty Blue Devils for a number of matches, Green finally pulled out a victory. The loss against Copley is killing Green now. They'll have to hope Tallmadge drops a match between now and the end of the year (doubtful ).

i personally like the plain dealer article better, where they referred to it as "the upset of the year"... which it was.
but i'm glad it happened now, since the sl is not at stake, and it'll will do us good to get a loss before tourneys start.

How many more SL games left SimplyaDevil? Who does Tallmadge have left? I know they probably won't lose. I'd just like to hold out some hope.

As for "upset of the year", that depends on who you're talking to. It's a big upset yes, because Green hasn't been able to get over the proverbial 'hump' to beat Tallmadge, but I and many others have known all along they had the talent to do it this year. It's been all mental.

Green Earns win

I am new on here, but as a dedicated vball fan I would just like to say that Green earned and deserved that win. They also deserve to win the sl, so I am rooting on Copley when they play Tallmadge.

no doubt in my mind that green earned the win. they are a very good team. was it an upset? heck yeah it was. deserving to win the sl title has nothing to do with being talented enough to. root for copley, but either way... tallmadge wins the title. they just might have to share it.

No one is doubting it was an upset. Green hasn't beat Tallmadge in recent years. Until we start beating Tallmadge somewhat regularly, it'll always be an upset. What a fun upset it was though
