Colerain should win the division. They were pretty good last year and they will be a more experienced team this year with a pretty good pitcher. They should be one of the better teams this year in Southwest Ohio.
Middletown may be up near the top. I don't know who will be pitching for Fairfield, Lakota East, or Milford. Sycamore's pitcher may be injured. Can anyone verify that?

Alot of teams have pitchers that are not known about. This may prove to be a benefit to have the element of surprise. Many people are picking Colrain without knowing all the details on the other teams.

Lakota East should be the team this year to beat. They had most of their players returning.
Princeton - will NOT be a contender.
The other pitchers in the GMC will be young and their first time in Varsity unless the coach gave them some pitching time last year and it looked like to me they mostly rode their #1. Fairfield had two senior pitchers graduate.
Colerain could be a contender because they have several pitchers and any one can step up and pitch a good game.

Who will pitch for Lakota East? Didn't they graduate their pitcher? Or does she have one more year?

Stetz (sp?) was Lakota East's pitcher last year. She was not a junk ball pitcher, she was more of a power pitcher and had pretty good stuff.
If East is going to a JV pitcher from last year, they probably won't compete for the GMC title. Colerain on the other hand is returning a pitcher that was pretty successful last year as a freshman and will only be better this year. They also have a senior (Amrein) who can pitch if required.
Other teams that I am not as familiar with that could be successful are Hamilton and Fairfield. Any thoughts or knowledge of what kind of pitching they may have?

Colrain has many good players. I also know that Hamilton is returning an awesome hitter and several infielders. They also had a JV pitcher who did well. Middletown also has a freshman pitcher who is pretty decent.

You cant really count too many teams out of it this year. Should be quite interesting.

Colerain should be the class of the league. Oak Hills will compete with Hamilton (along with several other teams for the 2 spot). However, this is high school sports and anything can happen...
