Glenville

They can't stand when the attention is not on them. :p :p :p 🤣 🤣 🤣 😅😆
Oh Folks are already (stupidly) asking if Massillon just gonna run through region 7 again instead of stepping up. Now watch MassilonTigers act like I didnt put stupidly in parentheses lmfao

Agreed. That’s dumb AF, the region is a little sus but you can only play the teams in your region. And the schedule a very solid reg season schedule. People just love to hate on public schools that aren’t surrounded by white picket fences 😂

Last sentence is too much real talk for yappi my brother lol

How many go isn't nearly as important as how many graduate. Never hear that number...
Right. And Glenville is the only high school football team that people don’t discuss graduation numbers about. You have issues, I’ll go back and forth with MassilonTiger3 all day about football and other Massilon fans as well. It’s clear you have zero interest in having normal conversation.

Uh oh looks like you boys got some catching up to do 😉

Not true. If d1 was where they wanted to be (which has been parroted here ad nauseum), they can do that now. Turns out all that paperwork fraud on the back end of their probation was because they're holding themselves accountable only to very low expectations. It seems the Ginn-y pig jock sniffers need a new lie rallying cry,

I have no idea what division Massillon wants to be nor do I really care.

When youre too old, bitter and out of touch to realize you are the jock snifffer lmao.

Also My rally cry was on National Signing Day. Talk soon

It is interesting, in that there is no clear consistent dominant program. Hoban of a few years ago may have jumped after the 3-peat. But D2 has had 4 different champs in the past 4 years, and the 5th (Avon) is my pre-season #1. That is pretty good parity. I say keep it the way it is.

Now if Hoban jumped and Massillon did not, or vice versa, I can't help but think it would "cheapen" it for the other guy. Ditto if Avon finally won it this year after both Massillon and Hoban jumped. In my mind those 3 teams need to stick together.

Yappi users can say whatever they want as long as scholarship money is still being given out in real life lol

It is not the end all be all but Massillon takes ALOT of pride in sending players to the next level. Not just the blue chippers that everyone wants but smaller schools too. Alot of people do alot of work to make it so, and is a point of emphasis w/in the program. Kudos to Glenville and anyone else who goes the extra mile to market their players and help them/families navigate the process. Many do not.

So true. There are some decent to good programs whose coaches do next to nothing for their kids when it comes to playing at the next level. Small schools provide great opportunities too, I will definitely be rooting for Owens at Slippery Rock

You don't do anyone any favors by throwing them into a situation for which they are not prepared. A big point of emphasis at Massillon is academics; this is why they have mandatory study halls, and why they lead the McKinley parade with a placard touting the team GPA. It ain't so at other schools. Which is to say, getting into college isn't what matters; getting out with a degree is. And when you don't have the academic foundation (i.e. all you have is an athletic resume), those odds are considerably longer.

Agreed. D2 is crazy, and I don’t think it’s a stretch to say it’s deeper i.e. tougher than D1. The top 3 in D2 is TOUGHHHH
