Gilmour Academy Lancers easily dispatched Archbishop Hoban Knights on Wednesday at Gilmour Academy Taylor Field, 13-2.

Gilmour Academy got on the board in the second inning after Camden Dreiling singled, scoring one run.

The Lancers scored six runs on six hits in the bottom of the third inning. Gracelyn Schultz induced Lauren Riccobelli to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Hailey Gray doubled, scoring two runs, Ella Jackson singled, scoring one run, Camden Dreiling singled, scoring one run, and Sophia Fortunato doubled, scoring one run.

Three more Gilmour runs crossed the plate in the fourth inning to extend the lead to 10-0. Lauren Riccobelli doubled, scoring one run, and Hailey Gray homered to center field, scoring two runs.

Ava Gundling homered to left field, scoring three runs in the bottom of the fifth for the Lancers.

Camden Dreiling earned the win for Gilmour. The starting pitcher gave up eight hits and two runs over five innings, striking out two and walking none. Gracelyn Schultz took the loss for Archbishop Hoban Knights. The right-handed pitcher went three innings, giving up 13 runs on 13 hits, striking out two and walking one.

Gilmour Academy tallied 15 hits in the game. Hailey Gray drove the middle of the lineup, leading Gilmour with four runs batted in. She went 2-for-3 on the day. Ella Jackson, Lauren Riccobelli, Hailey Gray, Camden Dreiling, Ava Paradise, and Aiden Pike each collected two hits for Gilmour Academy Lancers. Ava Gundling and Ava Paradise each stole multiple bases for the Lancers. Gilmour stole six bases in the game. The Lancers were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Ava Paradise made the most plays with seven.

Savannah Regan led Archbishop Hoban with three hits in three at bats from the leadoff position. Mya Akers and Savannah Regan each drove in one run for the Knights. Madison Shenigo collected two hits for Hoban in two at bats. The Knights turned two double plays in the game. Hoban didn't commit a single error in the field. Kalie Watson had the most chances in the field with four.
