Giants vs. Pats

The Northeast media is going to have a field day for the next 2 week and the Super Bowl ratings will be off the hook. The business side of the NFL could not be any better.

What strike?

I think you'll get a good game. Two contrasting styles and two of the hottest teams in the league. The last New England loss was in Week 9 to...New York Giants.

Don't really care who wins; I just want a good game.

For me this is a "meh" Super Bowl. Couldn't really care less who wins or for this game itself, for that matter. As long as there's no Steelers/Ravens in it I consider it a "win." :thumb:

Just once, I wish there was a Super Bowl with two teams that I don't care about, just so I could watch it without sweating and enjoy the game. That happened two years ago with Colts/Saints, but last year I rooted hard against Pittsburgh and in 13 days I'm going to be nervous as all hell.

I'm hoping for a Giants win.

I think it would say something about the nature of the NFL if Eli won more championships than Peyton.

If the Giants win then I'm going to say that since he entered the league, Eli has been a better QB than Brady, and it's going to piss recently off.

True. We could have just skipped the last 3 weekends and made it Green Bay vs. New Orleans and got a much more exciting and interesting game.

Same here. Not relishing another Boston vs. NYC media strokefest, like we have in baseball every season...and like they are eternally hoping for in the NBA.

If I had to pick a winner, I'd take the Giants. Better overall team than the Pats.

The only way I could loathe a SB matchup is if it involved Baltimore, New England, Oakland, or NYJ against Dallas or Philadelphia.

I went ahead and put a wager on the Giants +3. I feel like that line will end up moving down so I want to get the full 3 points while I can.

I originally wanted the pats, but one of the posts above has me thinking it would be fun for eli to have more bowl wins that peyton
