General NFL Chat

Jerry Jones wants HC's he can control that's not Harbaugh.
Yeah he’s done that since Jimmy and then Barry, and it has not really worked out for Jerry. Now Jerry is quite old and looking to repeat the success he had with Jimmy that has eluded him for 30 years. Tick tock….

If Harbaugh can get it to the point where he likes the contract, he is just the sort of guy that can ignore Jerry, actually. Jerry wants it badly.

Jerry will be on tilt. He could have dealt with SF knocking them out, but not this. He will over-react. He will want the surest possible path to success in every aspect that he can buy.

Lions bubble is about to pop. Much like the Browns, they are a terrible franchise with terrible ownership and loyal fans that deserve better, but unfortunately their misery will continue. Meanwhile, the LA fans deserve nothing, but “their” Rams will win and it will mean very little in LaLa Land.

Are we going to get any competitive playoff games. We will see who don't show up tonight. Probably another blow out coming

Lions may lose but because of their trade with LA they are a franchise on the rise, good drafting, good o-line, Goff is ok, defense needs improving but a team definitely on the uptick unlike browns who are stuck with Watson and his massive contract.

I would like to see Lions fans get some sort of reward for all their pain, but the football gods don’t seem to care much for DET or CLE.

Mike Tirico just cracked a joke about the Rams’ “moonwalk defense”. They don’t seem to have the answer so far

Jordan Love reminds me so much of Dan Marino, just flick the wrist and the ball zips out just before being hit by a rusher; he can also change arm angles pending the situation. Anyone in the NFL that wants to draft a QB with a goofy wind up motion like Pennix is a fool.
