So, does this mean we avoid MSJ altogether? There will be Friday night games at WC after all- one game will be a Saturday though
I’d rather travel to Nashville or Ironton for a game, versus MSJ on a Friday night.No- still have a few at MSJ. This year will be “home” game heavy due to extensive travel last year. We actually only leave the state once this season and that is to Nashville. Plus travel to Ironton and st Ed’s and that’s it outside of metro Cincinnati.
If it’s the same weekend as The Pilgrimage Music Festival in Franklin, TN—then absolutely. Then I expect to see you in Nashville Friday night in September!
I am pretty sure Moeller could get the fields at St Susanna, Columban, or SASEAS on Friday nights during the season. God knows it is a lot closer and they have more parking than Mt St Joe.
Hit a nerve huh. You need to relax. We can fun of Moeller's lack of a football stadium until they actually get one. Moeller has fumbled the ball so many times over the years on this issue. Now you all are hoping the proposed project at Blue Ash is a rescue. From the proposal I don't recall seeing any stadium seating at that place. How is that any different than the field in the back of the Moeller campus. Badin figured it out, seems like something Moeller should be able to get done. Why do you always have to be a jckass?

It's a 5000 seat arena Jackass. GBMHit a nerve huh. You need to relax. We can fun of Moeller's lack of a football stadium until they actually get one. Yeah because land in Hamilton is the same as Montgomery/ Indian Hill…Hit a nerve huh. You need to relax. We can fun of Moeller's lack of a football stadium until they actually get one. That’s not an excuse. They found land for baseball, they could do the same for footballYeah because land in Hamilton is the same as Montgomery/ Indian Hill…
You see Princetons renovation plan to an existing stadium on existing land costs $22 million- how much do you think a brand new stadium on land anywhere near Moeller will cost? Also will need zoning permission for a stadium that holds thousands of people not a couple hundred to watch baseball game- its not a super feasible endeavor since construction costs more than doubled since 2020.That’s not an excuse. The longer they wait and make excuses the more expensive it gets. You see Princetons renovation plan to an existing stadium on existing land costs $22 million- how much do you think a brand new stadium on land anywhere near Moeller will cost? Agree 100%. Moeller has been kicking this can down the field for years. It shows a complete lack of leadership at the school. The longer they wait and make excuses the more expensive it gets.
Are you donating $30 million? The “excuse” is they cant afford it. A stadium would be great- but considering the success of the program without a “home” stadium- ill take that over a permanent field any dayAgree 100%. I don't think it is a money issue. It is a lack of leadership. Moeller could easily raise enough money to cover half or more of the cost and then finance the remaining. Somebody just told me CHCA built a $20MM facility behind their middle school. Are you donating $30 million? The “excuse” is they cant afford it. That guy opposes everything. That’s his schtick. He is his biggest fan and loves to grandstand. See what he does but his record shows he opposes anything stadium / sports / recreation related.Surprised this was still alive and actually may be moving forward. Last time this came up Cappell (in all his usual grouchiness) was adamantly opposed.

Then you would think wrong- it is absolutely a money and land issue. CHCA has an endless funnel of $ from the Lindners. The leadership at Moeller has been pretty great- significant strides in many areas of the campus and school. Not sure where your axe is coming from but you seem very uninformed and just throwing insults out there with zero knowledgeI don't think it is a money issue. It is a lack of leadership. Zoning wouldn’t allow for it, but yes too small for a stadium and parking to accommodateAre there plans to build anything else (soccer, lacrosse, or another baseball field) at the Bucher Athletic Complex? Was the land too small to build a football stadium and have necessary parking?
