I saw both teams earlier in the season in person. IMO, the winner of this game was going to be one of the favorites for the state championship.
I watched the last few innings. Both teams were evenly matched. I would say that Manchester's pitcher was a little stronger but both were quality pitchers. South Range had runners on second and third with two outs but hit a foul popout to the catcher. South Range squandered a golden opportunity in the bottom of the 7th (game was tied) when they got their leadoff batter on but she was thrown out trying to steal on the second pitch to the next batter. Not sure why they didn't just bunt her over.
